What do you do for work?<\/strong><\/p>\n I\u2019m an editor and creative director.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What\u2019s your favourite thing to do at home?<\/strong><\/p>\n My boyfriend says I\u2019m always \u201cpottering\u201d around \u2013 which usually means doing chores or cooking. I can\u2019t really sit still, so sometimes I just decide to rearrange all the furniture in our apartment for no reason at all.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n When did you move to London and what drew you there?<\/strong><\/p>\n I moved here in 2019. Having grown up partly in Northern England, I\u2019ve always felt connected to British culture and its cities. So, London was an obvious choice.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n You have some incredible pieces of art at home \u2013 who are your favourite artists?<\/strong><\/p>\n Issy Wood, Diamond Stingily, Sang Woo Kim and Calla Henkel.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n There\u2019s a photograph of your dear Grandmother Joan above one of your chests. What do you love most about her?<\/strong><\/p>\n How much she loved chicken wings and how stubborn she stayed\u2026 right up until the very end.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Who would you like to cook dinner for in your home? Or who would you want to cook for you?<\/strong><\/p>\n I really miss my Mum\u2019s cooking, so I\u2019d give anything to have her cook me dinner again.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n When you go back to Sydney, what\u2019s first on your list of things to do?<\/strong><\/p>\n Sydney has the best coffee, food, and beaches. I usually rotate between those three.<\/p>\n 2025 is the year you get married. What do you think is the secret to a long marriage?<\/strong><\/p>\n Knowing your boundaries and being honest about them.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What music will feature at your wedding?<\/strong><\/p>\n One of our favourite DJs is Braden Wells<\/a>. When we started dating, we\u2019d send each other her NTS playlists<\/a>. Our first dance will be to Love You To Death<\/em> by Type O Negative<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Where did the shield in your home come from?<\/strong><\/p>\n It\u2019s a South Sudanese shield from the Dinka tribe. I bought it on a trip to Chiswick flea market<\/a> with my friend Fiona \u2013 we even got matching ones.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Who is your favourite photographer of all time?<\/strong><\/p>\n Although he\u2019s better known for other work, I\u2019d say Hans Bellmer<\/a>. I also love Thomas Ruff<\/a>, who I had the pleasure of interviewing a few years ago.!<\/p>\n It\u2019s hard to choose, but probably my tatami mat \u2013 I spend so much time sitting on the floor.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What piece of furniture would you like to add to your collection?<\/strong><\/p>\n Wall sconces.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Tell me about your dog, Sydney. What\u2019s she like?<\/strong><\/p>\n She\u2019s such a bitch.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What is your favourite city to be in at the moment? Why?<\/strong><\/p>\n I often take London for granted. I travel a lot, but nothing beats the feeling of coming home. I keep falling in love with this city all over again.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If you use one piece of makeup or skincare most, what is it?<\/strong><\/p>\n Eucerin Night Cream from Boots<\/a>.
