For our November UNITY! <\/em>issue<\/a>, renowned hairstylist Madison Voloshin invites us behind the scenes to explore the artistry and innovation shaping each look in this story.<\/p>\n

Working with the Shark Beauty Flexstyle<\/a> and its versatile attachments, Voloshin created a series of textured, voluminous and effortlessly modern styles tailored to the unique hair of every model. From defined curls to sculpted blow-dries and airy, brushed-out movement, each look showcases the tool\u2019s adaptability and Voloshin\u2019s instinctive approach to elevating natural beauty.<\/p>\n

Here, he walks us through the techniques and subtle details that brought these dynamic styles to life.<\/p>\n

Spraying a Root Lift onto the base of the hair, I dried the product in with no nozzle on my Shark Beauty Flexstyle<\/a> to get a bigger amount of volume. Then with the Auto Wrap Curl attachments<\/a> I sectioned the hair into eight sections at about two inches each. Starting with the right side and then the left, I used the attachments to curl the hair away from the face to give more volume when brushed out.<\/p>\n

Using the Shark Beauty Flexstyle<\/a> with the Oval Brush attachment<\/a>, I blow-dried the hair with soft movement. After using some texture spray, I then placed it and used hairspray to lock in the style.<\/p>\n

I blow-dried the hair smooth, with my Shark Beauty Flexstyle<\/a> using the Concentrator Nozzle<\/a>, leaving the hair glossy and malleable. I then placed the hair into shape and let it set with hairspray.<\/p>\n

After adding a light conditioning product mixed with a texture spray, I used the diffuser attachment<\/a> to diffuse the hair with my Shark Beauty Flexstyle<\/a>. I then brushed it out with my hands on the ends, playing with its natural feel and adding volume to the roots and ends while the curl pattern stayed natural.<\/p>\n

Cindy Toms (above left)<\/h3>\n

I first prepped the hair with water and curl cream. Using the Shark Beauty Flexstyle<\/a> with the diffuser attachment<\/a>, I dried the hair on medium heat to keep the integrity of the curl. I then brushed it out, making it big, voluminous and bouncy.<\/p>\n

Aoife Mcquire (above right)<\/h3>\n

Using the diffuser attachment<\/a> with the Shark Beauty Flexstyle<\/a> on a low heat, I prepared the hair using salt spray and curl cream and set the hair into the desired direction, following its natural curl pattern and manipulating it with my hands as it dried.<\/p>\n
