For the past few years, Role Model (whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury) has occupied not only a large part in pop music, but also in our minds. From interviews with Jake Shane,<\/a> to recruiting various celebrities to play ‘Sally’ at his concerts, he’s earned a well-deserved spot at the top of our musical obsessions. Naturally, then, we’ve been waiting with baited breath for the singer to announce his next evolution. And now, it seems a third album could be here sooner than we think. Below, everything we know about RM3.<\/p>\n

When is RM3 coming?<\/h3>\n

Possibly quite soon. Role Model has recently wrapped his No Place Like Tour<\/em> shows,<\/a> taking to Instagram to commemorate the occasion. But it’s the caption that’s really got us talking: “tour is over, my 15 minutes are almost up, i\u2019ve been working hard on little miss RM3, birkin has yet to show face.” Yep, he’s been working hard on a third album.<\/p>\n

There’s no word yet on when, exactly, this new music will hit our ears, but the singer has a pretty busy schedule coming up, which could coincide as promotion for a new album. Specifically, he’s scheduled to head to Australia for exclusive performances at Laneway Festival in February 2026<\/a>. Perhaps we’ll be treated to some new songs? A girl can dream…<\/p>\n

His previous release schedule also gives us some hints. The singer dropped his first album, RX<\/em> in 2022, followed by his second, Kansas Anymore<\/em> in 2024. If this timing tells us anything, it’s that we’re due for RM3 in 2026.<\/p>\n

What else do we know about RM3?<\/h3>\n

At this stage, not much, but his current era could hint at some possibilities.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Kansas Anymore<\/em> returned in an expanded form, Kansas Anymore (The Longest Goodbye)<\/em>, with four extra tracks \u2014 including the now-ubiquitous ‘Sally, When the Wine Runs Out’. This album has a mix of bittersweet storytelling and retrospective vibes, with many believing it was written in the wake of his breakup with Emma Chamberlain<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, it’s up for debate whether RM3 will lean into this melancholy a little further, or signal a shift into something a little more upbeat.<\/p>\n
