With more than 200 works, it focuses on the vital role of these Australian women in the emergence of international modernism.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>China Heights<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/chinaheights.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Between Lands<\/em><\/a> \u2013 from 14 Novmeber 2025 until 6 December 2025<\/p>\n<p>Shaun Daniel Allen\u2019s fourth solo exhibition charts a journey through resonant spaces encountered over the past eighteen months. These works document the flow of water, land, and life, compressing time to merge past, present, and future into a single visual field.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Sullivan+Strumpf<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sullivanstrumpf.com\/exhibitions\/a-fine-line\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>A Fine Line<\/em><\/a> \u2013 from 13 November 2025 until 13 December 2025<\/p>\n<p>Julia Gutman deepens her investigation into the fragile, fragmented nature of selfhood. Through repeated, fractured self-portraits, the artist presents as a multiplied, unstable image \u2013 a proxy for all of us \u2013 caught in the gap between how we understand ourselves and how we are understood by others.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Balenciaga Westfield Sydney<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/exposition.balenciaga.com\/en\/the-woman-behind-the-dress\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>The Woman Behind The Dress<\/em><\/a> \u2013 until 17 November 2025<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate their new store opening, Balenciaga invites guests to experience an exclusive in store exhibition featuring special archival pieces by Crist\u00f3bal Balenciaga. You will need to register for a time slot online in order to attend.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>COMA<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.comagallery.com\/exhibitions\/114-oliver-wagner-rehearsal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Rehearsal<\/em><\/a> \u2013 until 8 November 2025<\/p>\n<p>Swiss-Australian artist Oliver Wagner&#8217;s solo presentation foregrounds the unseen act of painting \u2013 labour, speculation, and care \u2013 as a form of choreography, a rehearsal without an audience, a performance that leaves only traces.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>CHALK HORSE<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chalkhorse.com.au\/exhibitions\/emily-ferretti\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Night and Day<\/em><\/a> \u2013 until 16 November 2025<\/p>\n<p>Emily Ferretti\u2019s first solo presentation explores the vitalities of matter and life are uttered in the same way as how Virginia Woolf incites within us the amorous, gleaming, vehement substrates of being.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Bundanon<\/h3>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bundanon.com.au\/the-hidden-line\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Hidden Line: Art of the Boyd Women<\/a> \u2013\u00a0<\/em>until 15 February 2026<\/p>\n<p>This exhibition celebrates the women of one of Australia&#8217;s most prominent artistic dynasties with more than 300 works from five generations, including never-before-exhibited works. He is celebrated for his inventive and often playful approach to sculpture, inviting audiences to experience ordinary objects anew. Drawing from the everyday, he recasts found objects in resin at a 1:1 scale, with meticulous attention to colour, texture and form, while allowing subtle imperfections to remain visible.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>NGV<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ngv.vic.gov.au\/exhibition\/women-photographers-1900-1975\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Women Photographers 1900\u20131975: A Legacy of Light<\/em><\/a> \u2013 from 28 November 2025 until May 2026<\/p>\n<p>Featuring some of the most iconic images from the twentieth century by the likes of Diane Arbus, Dora Maar, Lee Miller, Dorothea Lange, Olive Cotton and many more, this exhibition celebrates the images, lives and stories of more than 80 influential artists working between 1900 to 1975. More than 300 rare and innovative photographs, prints, postcards, photo books and magazines will be displayed from the NGV Collection.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Heide Museum<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.heide.com.au\/exhibitions\/john-nixon-song-of-the-earth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Song of the Earth<\/em><\/a> \u2013 from 26 November 2025 until 9 March 2026<\/p>\n<p>A major exhibition of works by John Nixon (1949\u20132020), one of Australia\u2019s most influential and experimental abstract artists. This extensive survey is the first to span Nixon\u2019s fifty-year career. Presented five years after his death, it offers a timely celebration of his life\u2019s work.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Sullivan+Strumpf<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sullivanstrumpf.com\/exhibitions\/puffs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Puffs<\/em><\/a> \u2013 from 27 November 2025 until 20 December 2025<\/p>\n<p>An expansion of Polly Borland\u2019s sculptural practice, launched in 2023, this new series sees her human subjects\u2019 balloon into anamorphic, even alien-like forms. However, the shift in this series is restraint: for the first time, we see silhouettes without the signature padding, revealing the body within.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Villa Alba Museum<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/otomys.com\/viewing-room\/71-celebrating-15-years-of-otomys-villa-alba-museum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Still Point<\/em><\/a> \u2013 from 13\u201323 November 2025<\/p>\n<p>The show will bring together works by emerging and established Australian and international artists responding to the mansion\u2019s storied history. Featured artists in dialogue with the setting will include Anna van der Ploeg, Caroline Collom, Chica Seal, Frances van Hasselt, Helen Redmond, Hermentaire, Joel Sorensen, Katy Papineau, Madisyn Zabel, Marie Bernard, Piet Raemdonck, Sophia Szil\u00e1gyi, and Colin Pennock.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>47 Derby Street, Collingwood<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DQUsqrLE9mf\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Sixteen Things I Brought Home From New York<\/em><\/a> \u2013 Thursday 13 November 2025<\/p>\n<p>Food stylist Chris Yuille presents a one-night-only exhibition featuring mementos from his favourite New York dining spots, beautifully captured by photographer Stephanie Stamatis and transformed into striking posters by AKLR Studio.
