What\u2019s your earliest beauty-related memory?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t remember my earliest, but I always loved experimenting with my looks as a kid. I recall curling my hair overnight by braiding it on one side, keeping the other half straight. I was so proud of the 50\/50 look. I begged my parents to take my picture. I think I was seven.<\/p>\n

Tell me about your childhood…<\/strong><\/p>\n

I grew up in the Bavarian countryside, where caring too much about your looks was considered an undesirable trait.<\/p>\n

Do you think that had an impact on you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maybe\u2026 I think it may have deepened my curiosity for beauty, and my love of experimenting with makeup.<\/p>\n

Do you think energy is a part of beauty?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes, I think it\u2019s the biggest part.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your approach to beauty now \u2013 do you have a philosophy?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My approach is staying true to myself but being open to reinvention. I thoroughly enjoy experimenting with my look.<\/p>\n

Have you found that time and getting older has evolved this in any way?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Quite the opposite. I feel as if the more I stick to my approach, the more I\u2019m in touch with my younger self or inner child.<\/p>\n

How do you feel about ageing?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s a privilege. I feel like I\u2019m growing into a stronger and more confident version of myself right now.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your take on work and cosmetic tweaks? Is it something you think about?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I think everyone should do as they wish, I find it interesting. I love taking supplements, eating well, and investing time in my skincare. Taking good care of yourself is the highest form of luxury, in my opinion.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s just gotten better.<\/p>\n

I love seeing sensitivity and individuality.<\/p>\n

Oiled up and moisturised in my pyjamas before bedtime.<\/p>\n

A smudged kohl pencil on my eyes, plus a good hair day.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I think of coffee.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, I’m probably scrolling on TikTok<\/a>\u2026 and double checking my alarm five times.<\/p>\n

YES.<\/p>\n

What skincare products do you use religiously?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The N\u00f8 Cosmetics Liquid Hydrator<\/a> and Liquid Balancer<\/a> are incredible drugstore toners. I love using the Av\u00e8ne Cicalfate Protective Cream<\/a> as a moisturiser, Isdin sunscreen<\/a> and I\u2019m obsessed with the blue Biodance three-hour face mask<\/a>, as well.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your secret to a perfectly cool platinum blonde?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My dear friend and hairstylist, Daiki. And purple shampoo by Shu Uemura<\/a>.<\/p>\n

How do you keep it soft and nourished?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Fino Hair Mask by Shiseido<\/a> is the best one. Plus, lots of oils, I use a bunch of different brands.<\/p>\n

It changes all the time.<\/p>\n

I love laying scents. Byredo Blanche<\/a> is a great base \u2013 it smells so fresh and clean. At the moment I love to add Rosa Carinova by Dries Van Noten<\/a> on top and maybe a spritz of something else, depending on my mood.<\/p>\n

Journaling.<\/p>\n

What products are always in your bag?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I find I have a strong need to carry around too many different lip products. Plus, a hairbrush.<\/p>\n

Finally, what do you find beautiful about print?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I love the longevity of it, it makes it such a thrill to work on. Also, being able to dive into so many different stories and working with people I admire.<\/p>\n
