We have been thinking about home. The perfect chair to sink into after a long day, the small appliance that makes the most delicious treats, and the linen that softens with time<\/a>. These are the homewares we\u2019ve been adding to our carts and wishlists of late.<\/p>\n

As the days get warmer, I find myself on autopilot to my local frozen yoghurt spot. So when I heard Tefal was releasing its new frozen dessert machine, Dolci,<\/a> I wanted in. They\u2019ve teamed up with Nestl\u00e9 Nesquik for the launch \u2013 a nostalgic pairing that feels a little bit genius. I\u2019m already imagining it taking over Christmas with the family, and I\u2019m quietly determined to nail a few frozen yoghurt and gelato recipes before then.<\/p>\n

A piece of furniture I have been dreaming about this month is the Song Armchair by Studio ALM x Maker&Son<\/a>. It would be my ultimate reading nook chair.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve also been scrolling MESA Collection\u2019s website and have a few items in my cart. Firstly, the fish lemon squeezer<\/a> (no brainer), the spiral 5-piece handmade cutlery silver set<\/a> would be an early Christmas gift to myself, and a set of 6 ruffled placemats<\/a> are a necessity for the upcoming dinner party\/festive season.<\/p>\n

To finish off my homewares wishlist this month, FAZEEK<\/a> has released its new holiday collection and the Jewel Oil Bottle<\/a> is calling me\u2026<\/p>\n

These Canteen Glasses from Service Projects<\/a> have been the best new addition to my apartment of late. Sturdy, pretty and dishwasher-safe. I\u2019m also very into soap bricks<\/a> at the moment (I find them so chic). This Roma Heirloom Tomato Soap Brick from Flamingo Estate<\/a> is next on my bathroom counter. I recently purchased a swathe of vintage matchboxes from Reverse Garbage that are my new favourite household trinkets (encourage you to source some from your nearest op shop). And finally, my wish list item right now is the Elba Armchair in Taupe from McMullin<\/a>. DREAM!<\/p>\n

I really love the look of silver serveware at the moment. HAY does a great vintage-style ice cream dish<\/a>, which is perfect for everything from dips and olives to chocolate mousse. I also really like these bigger dishes by Soos Atelier<\/a> \u2013 they’re somewhere between a bowl and a plate.<\/p>\n

I think it\u2019s the warmer weather talking, but I\u2019m loving having fresh flowers in the house again. We do have a serious shortage of appropriate vases though. I\u2019m eyeing up this Louise Roe style<\/a> as a chic solution. Finally, if your house is anything like mine, you go through candles at an alarming rate. We\u2019re in dire need of a restock, and nothing does it for me quite like this classic vanilla scent by Diptyque.<\/a><\/p>\n

Books have become my greatest indulgence lately. Next on my list is Madonna In A Fur Coat<\/a> by Sabahattin Ali, a beautiful story about love and longing.<\/p>\n

With the festive season around the corner, I\u2019ve been loving these coupes from Maison Balzac<\/a>, they\u2019re the perfect mix of playful and elegant. At home I\u2019ve been surrounded by Aesop scents. The Kagerou Incense<\/a> and Cythera Room Spray<\/a> are my favourites. I\u2019ve also had my eye on these MCM House dining chairs<\/a> which are ideal for hosting and this Hommey Quilt Cover<\/a> remains at the top of my wishlist.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve just moved into a new place, and refreshing my bedding is a priority. Tekla\u2019s<\/i> Broderie Anglaise collection<\/a> feels delicate and calming \u2013 it would pair perfectly with a blue mohair throw from Mantas Ezcaray<\/i><\/a>.<\/p>\n

For the living room, I\u2019ve been eyeing the Tall Studio Vase<\/i> from Dinosaur Designs<\/i> in \u2018Grass\u2019<\/a> – a wow piece that is ideal for weekend market flowers. But if I were to splurge on one piece, it would be The Alby Occasional Chair<\/i> from The Object Collective<\/i><\/a>. It\u2019s a little unexpected, but practical, which I love.<\/p>\n

In the kitchen, I\u2019m not the biggest cook, but I know the Chambray Le Creuset<\/i> pot<\/a> would bring me a lot of joy \u2013 and it doubles as permanent kitchen decor. A win-win.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been searching for an occasion chair to sit in my bedroom \u2013 I\u2019m really drawn to the Alti Lounge Chair from Trit House, I love the aluminium against the soft fabric. The blue shade<\/a> is beautiful but if I\u2019m being realistic, I\u2019d probably choose stone beige<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now that it\u2019s warming up, I\u2019ve also decided I need lightweight summer sheets (mine are super thick and heavy \u2013 luxurious but too hot). I love linen because it\u2019s soft and gets better with age. Cultiver are the best I\u2019ve come across. I\u2019m a fan of all white, so the Ivory set<\/a> is going straight in my cart. Also on my radar is this fun decanter from Maison Balzac<\/a> \u2013 imagine topping it with chilled orange wine on a summer afternoon with friends. Perfect.<\/p>\n

The time is rapidly approaching where I need just a little more oomph in the morning than my current cafetiere can provide, so I\u2019m adding the Breville Oracle<\/a> to my wishlist. My rationale being: it looks chic, I can make coffee for my partner and I at the same time, and it has a mystical name \u2013 the way all mornings should start.<\/p>\n

Similarly, when life is busy it is my home rituals that help me wind down after a big day, so I have been coveting new toys for the kitchen. Truthfully, what I really need is a sieve to improve my bisque making but I would adore a KitchenAid food processor<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bed is my happy place, so it\u2019s time for the seasonal sheet and towels update. My inner raspberry-lover is coveting this organic cotton set<\/a> from Bed Threads, and these Cultiver towels<\/a> are just so good.<\/p>\n

The studio could use a little bit of organisation, and I can\u2019t help but feel my record collection would love to move into these gorgeous units from Fleur Studios<\/a>. Out of sheer frivolity and because incoming summer means incoming soirees, I would love to get back into DJing. I have been looking at Pioneer all in one systems<\/a>, just \u2018cos.<\/p>\n
