The House grows its own camellia flowers in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.russh.com\/emily-algar-france-postcards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gaujacq near Biarritz, France<\/a>; an open-air laboratory where the plants are cultivated, harvested, studied and ultimately developed into efficacious formulas. This means of product development, done in collaboration with botanists and scientists, affords CHANEL a carte blanche; the house is completely in control of its supply chain and thus end formulations, ensuring both the highest quality skincare and complete visibility over its sustainability efforts.<\/p>\n<p>The N\u00b0 1 de CHANEL skincare line reflects the House\u2019s commitment to circular beauty, from lightweight, recyclable packaging to refills and naturally-derived ingredient profiles. In Gaujacq, CHANEL and its collaborators practice responsible agricultural practices.
