Warm socks, jackets<\/a>, skincare<\/a> and footwear for every occasion. These are some of the things the\u00a0RUSSH<\/em> editors are adding to cart this month. We’re leaning into comfort \u2013 think bed socks from Paire, tonal sweats from BOODY, and coats that do more than just keep you warm. There are sneaker debates, fragrance restocks, and a quiet obsession with Glossier candles. And yes, biker boots are back. Marissa Cooper would be proud.<\/p>\n

Keeping the cosy mood going, I recently got my hands on the <\/span>The Double Breasted Longline Wool Coat from Friend of Audrey<\/span><\/a>, and it\u2019s going to be a staple I use for years to come. A jacket I have on my list to pick up for winter is the <\/span>1996 Retro Nuptse puffer from The North Face<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m a sneaker girl, so I\u2019ve had a tab open for <\/span>these ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14\u2019s<\/span><\/a> for a while. <\/span>These Salomon XT-6\u2019s<\/span><\/a> have the same vibe with a touch of colour, so I need to decide.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m due for a restock of my Kosas concealer<\/a>, I love S\u00cc Eau de Parfum Intense so I need to try the new ARMANI Beauty S\u00cc Passione Red Musk<\/a>\u00a0and lastly, I have the Glossier You candle, but want to pick up the Sandstone scent<\/a> as well.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For obvious reasons, my focus re: shopping has been on warmth, comfort and materiality this month. And I\u2019ve finally met my sneaker match \u2013 these <\/span>PUMA Speedboat OGs<\/span><\/a> in the coffee\/frosted ivory colour way. For chilly WFH mornings, I\u2019m also eyeing off this <\/span>BOODY CloudKnit Quarter Zip Sweater<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Sweat Shorts<\/span><\/a> in this gorgeous oyster hue. And finally, these <\/span>DMY STUDIOS Margot sunnies<\/span><\/a> (it was time for an upgrade).<\/span><\/p>\n

If there\u2019s one thing every gal needs it\u2019s a very comfortable, very practical pair of dark coloured baggy jeans. And I think I\u2019ve found <\/span>the perfect pair just in time for winter thanks to COS<\/span><\/a>. I\u2019ve also decided that this is the year I invest in leather gloves and coincidently <\/span>came across this pair which are also cashmere lined (?!)<\/span><\/a>. It feels like fate.<\/span>

\n<\/span>After months of flirting with the idea of a new pair of Salomons I think I\u2019ve finally landed on <\/span>a pair of classic black ones<\/span><\/a>. Will I look the same as every other person in Melbourne? Yes. Do I care? Absolutely not.<\/span><\/p>\n

This gorgeous <\/span>CAMILLA AND MARC oversized knit sweater in the most beautiful burnt red orange\/red colour<\/span><\/a> is also coming home with me, as are <\/span>a new pair of Poppy Lissiman sunglasses<\/span><\/a> to replace the pair that didn\u2019t make it home from my last holiday.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last but not least, a little treat yourself moment. It\u2019s my birthday this month and I\u2019m very partial to buying myself presents. Namely this <\/span>Sarah & Sebastian Opal Signet ring<\/span><\/a> I\u2019ve had my eye on for months.<\/span><\/p>\n

Coat season also means dry skin for me so I\u2019m trying to be good inside and out. I\u2019ve just started taking <\/span>Swisse Beauty Marine Collagen Skin Hydration Powde<\/span><\/a>r, as well as treating my body with the <\/span>Uni Golden Microalage Body Oil<\/span><\/a>, it’s utterly delicious. For my face, I need to refill my Emma Lewisham <\/span>Supernatural Vitale Face Elixir<\/span><\/a>, and these <\/span>green Bottega glasses<\/span><\/a> to hide behind would be much appreciated. With fashion week inching ever closer I\u2019m looking into some sneakers to be practical to move fast, but that are chic enough to be worn with a suit, something like these <\/span>Veja Volley<\/span><\/a>s would be perfect with the suede. If I could, I would invest in these <\/span>Jil Sander Ankle Boots<\/span><\/a> that would just go with absolutely everything.<\/span><\/p>\n

Has <\/span>the moto boho trend<\/span><\/a> fully materialised? Not really. Will that stop me from <\/span>looking like Marissa Cooper<\/span><\/a> walked out of a Chlo\u00e9 store this winter? Absolutely not. Lace dresses and biker boots are about to be my new uniform. I love everything from the new Posse collection but <\/span>this lace dress is my favourite<\/span><\/a>. Best worn with these <\/span>Tony Bianco biker boots<\/span><\/a>. I plan on pairing with my new Coach leather jacket that I bought in Japan. The jacket was vintage but <\/span>the one in the picture is similar<\/span><\/a>. Another Japan purchase, <\/span>this Stella McCartnery bag<\/span><\/a>. I\u2019m obsessed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also on my shopping list this month\u2026 <\/span>the new Panenka sneakers from Veja<\/span><\/a>. They\u2019re ridiculously cool. The <\/span>new Rare Beauty lip oils<\/span><\/a> look gorgeous, so I\u2019m going to pick up one of the taupe-y colours for winter. And then <\/span>The Cream 230<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Fortifying Serum from Hair Rituel by Sisley<\/span><\/a> are also on my list to buy. I cut my hair to just below the shoulders so I\u2019ve been wearing it curly again \u2013 and those are my favourite hair products to keep my curls bouncy and full.<\/span><\/p>\n

After rounding up <\/span>the best maxi skirts of the season<\/span><\/a>, I\u2019ve decided to take my own advice and purchase one. It helps that I\u2019ve fallen in love with <\/span>this lace style by Maison Essentiele<\/span><\/a>. I love that you can style it with a baby tee (<\/span>they do a great one, too<\/span><\/a>) and sandals in summer, and an oversized knit and boots in winter.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Queenslander in me has taken Sydney\u2019s recent cooler weather to mean I need to overhaul my wardrobe, and top of my list is <\/span>this jacket by Reformation<\/span><\/a>. I\u2019m also eyeing off great layering pieces, like this silky-wool blend <\/span>long sleeve by Harris Tapper<\/span><\/a>, and this <\/span>knitted jacket-cardigan hybrid<\/span><\/a> by Posse.<\/span><\/p>\n

And rounding it all off, no winter wardrobe is complete without a good pair of boots. I\u2019ve had my eye on<\/span> these ones<\/span><\/a> by Alias Mae for a while now, but this <\/span>cowboy-esque pair by COS<\/span><\/a> have also recently caught my attention\u2026 Perhaps I need both.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m a jeans girl through and through, and because they\u2019re a staple, I go through a pair quickly. So when I saw these straight legged jeans, by <\/span>Uniqlo and JW Anderson,<\/span><\/a> two of my favourite brands, I was so excited.<\/span><\/p>\n

And as someone that wears makeup fondly and frequently \u2013 as well as being a big Westman Atelier fan \u2013 I really would love the <\/span>Petal\/ Biscuit powder duo<\/span><\/a>. I already use the cream versions, but think the powder will add a bit more definition and make it last. And this purchase,I have been trying to put off for as long as I could, but can no longer fight it.
