After more than ten years at the helm, Jonathan Anderson officially stepped down as Creative Director of the Spanish luxury House LOEWE last week. A role he\u2019s held since 2013, and one in which he\u2019s reshaped the conversation around what fashion can be. But there\u2019s no waiting in the wings for LOEWE. The brand has already announced its successors: design duo Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, best known as the minds behind Proenza Schouler.<\/p>\n
LOEWE confirmed that McCollough and Hernandez will oversee \u201cthe entire creative responsibility of all Loewe collections across womenswear, menswear, leather goods and accessories.\u201d<\/p>\n

If you’re familiar with New York fashion, you’ve heard the name Proenza Schouler. The label, founded by McCollough and Hernandez in 2002 after graduating from Parsons, quickly rose to critical acclaim for its blend of sharp tailoring, soft structure, and downtown cool.Crowned \u2018Designers of the Year\u2019 upon graduation, their ascent was swift and assured, earning them five CFDA awards across womenswear and accessories and securing their place as defining figures in the new wave of American fashion. Known for pushing American fashion forward with an artful lens, the duo have spent over two decades defining, and redefining, what contemporary luxury looks like. It\u2019s a philosophy grounded in artistry and integrity, one that resonates deeply with the values at the core of LOEWE\u2019s 179-year heritage.<\/p>\n
Their move to Paris signals a new, ambitious phase in their trajectory, and for LOEWE, a fresh fusion of Spanish heritage and New York edge.<\/p>\n
