It’s been a hot minute since The 1975 released new music. In fact it’s been more than three years since the band’s last studio album, Being Funny in a Foreign Language,\u00a0<\/em>was dropped in 2022. In the meantime, Healy and the band have busied themselves with other projects (getting engaged being among them), but finally we’re starting to be peppered with ambiguous droplets of information about their forthcoming sixth studio album.<\/p>\n

Are we getting two albums now?<\/h2>\n

It’s looking likely seeing as this video uploaded to TikTok earlier today shows the singer himself utter the words. The uploader, a fan named Heidi, says in the video’s caption that she “asked Matty Healy about DOGS<\/em>\u00a0and he confirmed it’s the name of the album”. (Eagle-eyed fans will remember that the band teased \u201cDOGS\u201d at the end of their Glastonbury show earlier this year.)<\/p>\n

Even more interestingly though, was Healy’s comment near the end of the video, where he clearly says: “We made two [albums]. It might be one, it might be two.”<\/p>\n
