The embossed card is in your hands. Dates have been blocked off in the calendar. You’ve aided and abetted in saying yes to a dress.<\/a> Now we turn to matters of the cuticle. A big one, for sure. After all, your hands are the epicentre of any wedding imagery or eagle-eyed guest. It’s where the rock of your choice will live, and to accompany it, the manicure of your choice is no unsung hero.<\/p>\n

Glass nails, glazed nails, ombre chrome nails. Every day we uncover a new, more glossy finish for our cuticles to follow suit. The latest in the game? A fleet of iridescent, holographic looks that reflectively glitter in the sun, AKA the glass nail.<\/a> But what of the wedding nail? The game here is a tricky one: you want to balance the colours of your dress and shoes, and for the varnish to glitter and gleam – without drawing attention away from the rock on your finger. When your fingers are circling the bouquet, do you want them to be understated, or splashy?<\/p>\n

Personally, I’m in between polar opposites: big on a sharpened, showy nail, or completely varnish-free. While I haven’t reached a cumulative point where the nail of my choice for the big day is on my mind, I like to prepare. Anyway, the day is about you and yours. I’m merely your voice of support.
