When your last name is Styles, you’d better hope to have some. Luckily Harry Styles has it in bucketloads, and we are, to put it simply, huge fans. Our love for him runs deep, and a big factor in the why is the way his ability to dress himself has evolved over the years.

In the decade since Styles left One Direction, his style has done nothing but get better. First, it was the skinny jeans and scoop neck t-shirts of his boy band days. Then, much like his music, he evolved into candy-coloured suits and printed flares with Harry’s House. And now, in 2025, it feels as though Styles has finally arrived at a truly cohesive and authentic place of dressing.

Yes, it’s been years since Styles bless us with new music (we’ve been counting the days, trust us). But his hiatus has been anything but quiet. From frolicking in the fields of Glastonbury, to helping a fan (unsuccessfully, but still) parallel park in Italy, and running a marathon in Tokyo, Styles is shaping up to be the King of side quests in 2025.

If you’ve been missing his music, then we have just the cure. Below, our ode to the fashion stylings of Harry Styles.

After trying to get his adaptation off the ground for about seven years, the Robert Eggers film remake of the classic vampire tale, Nosferatu, has finally finished filming in Prague earlier this year. The making of the film hasn’t been breezy, with setbacks, cast changes and delays – from Harry Styles leaving the project, to the role switch from Anya Taylor-Joy to Lily Rose-Depp as Ellen (Taylor-Joy tapping out because of scheduling conflicts shooting Furiosa, the Mad Max: Fury Road sequel in Sydney).

Eggers, the director behind The Lighthouse, The Witch and The Northman, says the film will loosely be based on Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula, the 1922 silent German expressionist movie Nosferatu still scares audiences to this day.

Watch the brand new trailer

Watch the trailer released this week…

What is the Nosferatu film about?

The story tells of a mysterious count Orlok who summons real estate agent Thomas Hutter to his Transylvanian castle to help him acquire more property. When he meets Hutter’s wife Ellen, he comes obsessive and wants to suck Ellen’s blood and claim her as his own – men, am I right?

Deadline reports that the movie will seemingly follow a similar, perhaps darker and more psychological plot: “In the new reimagining, Nosferatu is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman (Lily-Rose Depp) in 19th-century Germany, and the ancient Transylvanian vampire (Bill Skarsgård) who stalks her, bringing untold horror with him.”

Who is joining the cast of the Nosferatu remake?

The cast is nothing short of sensational. Lily Rose-Depp (fresh from The Idol), Bill Skarsgård and Nicholas Hoult are on board, while Emma Corrin was added to the lineup as a new character called Anna Harding.

Willem Dafoe has reunited with Eggers after working together on both The Lighthouse and The Northman together – Dafoe set to portray Professor Albin Eberhart Von Franz.

Other notable cast members include Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who will be joining the cast as Friedrich Harding, and Game of Thrones’ Ralph Ineson who will play Dr. Wilhelm Sievers.

Where was Nosferatu shot?

Filming for Nosferatu took place in Prague over the course three months, wrapping up in mid-May last year. Filming locations included Rožmitál pod Třemšínem castle, a Baroque 18th Century military hospital and the Invalidovna complex.

What is the release date for the Nosferatu film?

Nosferatu is set to have its cinematic release in Australia on Christmas Day, 25 December 2024.

From Troye Sivan to Björk, these are the most memorable wardrobes worn on stage https://www.russh.com/best-tour-wardrobes/ Mon, 03 Jun 2024 03:56:47 +0000 https://www.russh.com/?p=167711 Across more than 70 decades, there's quite a bit to look back on.

They’re the ones that have transcended generations, or are rapidly beginning to claim their stake in pop culture history. The Ziggy Stardusts and the Mother Monsters of the world. Concerts are about the music, however the theatrics certain artists choose to employ in their performance will always become an integral part of the show. Feathers, sequins, ruffles, a whole lot of skin – the best concert outfits are always an eclectic mixture of what is authentic to the artist themselves and the character they become on stage.

Here, we look back at some of the best, most memorable concert outfits worn across the globe and across generations.

Troye Sivan

Troye Sivan currently on on his ‘Something to Give Each Other’ tour, is definitely giving us something more than his music on this tour. His wardrobe on tour is next level, simple but effective but we’r definitely feeling the rush as we look at him. His wardrobe for tour is Camp, with statement pieces, a throwback to the Y2k era and a sprinkle of the occasional high fashion piece such as custom Prada and Helmut Lang pieces. Styling Sivan for the tour is his stylist Marc Forne.

Billie Eilish recently announced her tour for her new album ‘Hit me hard and soft’ will be coming to Australia in 2025. While we wait, we take a look back at her past tour wardrobe’s that have been consistent with the theme of her wearing oversized jersey’s, graphic tees, shorts and cap. Known for changing her hair colour, we wonder if she will go blue for this tour to match her album?

Harry Styles’ Pleasing brand releases first clothing collection (and it looks exactly like what he’d wear on tour) https://www.russh.com/harry-styles-pleasing-clothing-collection-launch/ Sun, 02 Jun 2024 23:16:21 +0000 https://www.russh.com/?p=216371 We'll race you to the shopping cart.

The post Harry Styles’ Pleasing brand releases first clothing collection (and it looks exactly like what he’d wear on tour) appeared first on RUSSH.

Harry Styles is known for a great deal of things. From his earliest days as frontman and sweetheart of One Direction (ever heard of it?) to appearing on-screen to founding The Pleasing Company, he’s certainly had his hands full. The beauty and apparel label launched in November 2021 with a nail-art inspired debut, and since then, Styles has gone on to include ribbed loungewear, nail polish and fragrance in his brand drops.

It was only a matter of time before a proper clothing launch commenced. And there is no time like the present.

Following a ribbed loungewear set, Pleasing has just debuted their first ready-to-wear apparel line. In characteristic Harry Styles style, (which we’ve covered extensively) the collection is a mishmash of comfort and light confection-coloured hues. We can see Styles himself lounging around in trailers, strumming a guitar, or rifling through a dog-eared copy of In Watermelon Sugar in any of these pieces. This is precisely what we want to see. Below, we take you through how to get your hands on your own pieces. Don’t fret: we’ll race you to the shopping cart.

What does the collection include?

Titled ‘Wet, Hot, Pleasing Summer’, the line is an array of tote bags, caps, and co-ord baby tees and shorts. In customary Styles fashion, his line of clothes are emblazoned with bold, squiggly prints and adorable heart and sun motifs.

There’s also a rainbow ray set which we for one cannot wait to get our hands on. Just in time for summer in the Northern Hemisphere, the line-up also includes self-named ‘boat totes’, which would only be appropriate inclusions for our Euro Summer sojourns.

Where can I shop the collection?

You can scope out the whole line-up on the Pleasing website.

Right now, Pleasing ships to 3 out of 8 Australian territories, so make sure your place of residence is included.

A Harry Styles fanfic film we can get behind – see Anne Hathaway in the trailer for ‘The Idea of You’ https://www.russh.com/the-idea-of-you-harry-styles-fanfic/ Thu, 07 Mar 2024 00:04:27 +0000 https://www.russh.com/?p=168132 Yes, this is really happening.

The post A Harry Styles fanfic film we can get behind – see Anne Hathaway in the trailer for ‘The Idea of You’ appeared first on RUSSH.

]]>
Fanfic friends, don’t let your dreams just be dreams. Anne Hathaway is set to star in a Harry Styles fanfic-inspired film – yes, that is a real sentence. And, real Harries will know, it’s not the first time this has happened (see: After). The film is a cinematic adaptation of a 2017 book with a strangely specific storyline. Allow us to explain.

Watch the trailer for The Idea of You

Wow, we’re really doing this whole Harry Styles fanfic film again, hey? No matter. Go on stans, your wish has been fulfilled. We hope it’s everything you imagined and more. Although, they can’t be serious about that artwork…

What is the plot of The Idea of You film?

The plot of the film is pulled from 2017 book The Idea of You by Robinne Lee, wherein a 39-year-old gallery owner, Solene, unexpectedly falls for a boy band singer in his twenties, named Haynes Campbell. Solene falls for Haynes when she takes her daughter to a concert for his band, August Moon. The film will have a few differences to the original plot: Hathaway will star as Solene, who takes her daughter to Coachella when her ex-husband last-minute cancels on taking her to the festival. The film will be directed by Michael Showalter, who also worked on The Eyes of Tammy Faye and The Dropout

Now, before we all start debating whether or not this is actually about Harry Styles, there are a few things to consider, one of which the below comment made by Lee to blogger, Deborah Kalb, in 2017:

“A few years ago, my husband was away on business, and I was up late surfing music videos on YouTube when I came across the face of a boy I’d never seen in a band I’d never paid attention to, and it was so aesthetically perfect it took me by surprise. It was like… art. I spent a good hour or so Googling and trying to figure out who this kid was, and in doing so, I discovered that he often dated older women, and so the seed was planted.”

Allegedly, following this revelatory moment in Lee’s life was a conversation with her husband where she jokes she was “leaving him” because she had found the perfect man, to which her husband commented it would make a great book.

Lee, however, denied the book is about Styles when questioned in 2020, saying, “This was never supposed to be a book about Harry Styles. It was supposed to be a story about a woman approaching 40 and reclaiming her sexuality and rediscovering herself, just at the point that society traditionally writes women off as desirable and viable and whole.”

We’ll leave it up to audiences to decide.

Cast

Anne Hathaway will take the lead of Solene while Nicholas Galitzine will star as Hayes Campbell. Ella Rubin will play Solene’s daughter Izzy, while Annie Mumolo and Rashal James are also involved.

Is there a release date for The Idea of You?

The film will drop on Prime Video on May 2, 2024.

The Harry Styles olfactory universe expands with “sex-themed” fragrance collection https://www.russh.com/harry-styles-pleasing-fragrance/ Tue, 19 Sep 2023 01:03:21 +0000 https://www.russh.com/?p=193151 Closeness, Rivulets, and Bright, Hot will be released by Styles via his boundary-blurring beauty brand, Pleasing this October.

The post The Harry Styles olfactory universe expands with “sex-themed” fragrance collection appeared first on RUSSH.

]]>
It’s little surprise that Harry Styles is a man of many talents, juggling careers in music, acting and fashion design. But now his résumé includes the unexpected addition of perfumer, thanks to a recent announcement of a new fragrances line made via his boundary-blurring beauty beauty line Pleasing.

Founded back in 2021, the brand has dabbled in lip balms, serums, moisturisers, nail polishes and capsule makeup collections – but they have just quietly announced their foray into the fragrance market, with three new “sex-themed” Pleasing scents: Closeness, Rivulets, and Bright, Hot.

All three of the fragrances were crafted in collaboration with natural perfumer Robertet.

Pleasing has been hinting at the launch of a fragrance range for a little while now, sending peel-off fragrance strip samples to customers in their e-commerce orders for the last month. The Chief Executive of Pleasing, Shaun Kearney, even told Business of Fashion recently that: “Being a brand that is deeply rooted in the exploration of colour, emotional storytelling, and sensory experience, it is a strategic move for us to expand into this category.”

Styles joins a long line of celebrity-turned-beauty-brand-founders like Ariana Grande, Hailey Bieber, Lady Gaga and Selena Gomez – even Aussie TikTok influencer Anna Paul dropped a sell-out skincare line. But while the idea of a celebrity fragrance is not a novel one, the idea of a “sex-themed” scent certainly evokes some originality.

While Styles’s brand has remained somewhat ambiguous in terms of its offerings, launching into the fragrance market does seem like natural move to round out of their sensory universe.

When will Harry Styles’s fragrances be released?

All three scents in the range are scheduled for release in October, but an exact date remains unannounced by Pleasing at this point in time. In the meantime, you can sign up to the brand’s mailing list for updates on their website here.

Where can I buy Harry Styles’s fragrances?

For now, Harry Styles’s fragrances will only be available to purchase via Pleasing’s website in October. But they’ve hinted at plans to bring the scents to some brick-and-mortar retail spaces soon.

Chicken nuggets, iPhones, mother’s ashes: What’s up with audiences throwing objects onstage? https://www.russh.com/concert-etiquette-live-music-harry-styles-bebe-rexha/ Mon, 10 Jul 2023 04:45:37 +0000 https://www.russh.com/?p=188095 It seems the pandemic wiped our memory of concert etiquette.

The post Chicken nuggets, iPhones, mother’s ashes: What’s up with audiences throwing objects onstage? appeared first on RUSSH.

]]>
It seems the pandemic wiped our memory of how to behave at concerts. Over the past year or so, conversations around poor audience etiquette have reached fever pitch as artists call out annoying, odd or straight-up menacing behaviour at their gigs. One of the strangest to fall under this category is the phenomenon of fans throwing objects onstage and injuring the musician performing. Here’s a list of some of the things that have been lobbed onstage in the last year alone: a wheel of cheese, water bottles, cold chicken nuggets, countless iPhones, Skittles and most alarmingly, a fan’s dead mother’s ashes. The plot? Absolutely lost. People’s shame? Unable to be found.

Bebe Rexha, Harry Styles, Pink, Kid Cudi, Azealia Banks, Steve Lacy and Drake are just a handful of artists who have been on the receiving end of all this inexplicable object throwing, with Rexha needing stitches after being struck by a phone at her concert in New York City last month and footage surfacing of Harry Styles wincing in pain due to an unidentified object hitting him in the eye during a performance in Vienna on July 8.

The slate of injuries has even caught the attention of Adele, who spoke out against poor concert etiquette during one of her latest Weekends with Adele concerts in Las Vegas. “Have you noticed how people are like, forgetting fucking show etiquette at the moment? People just throwing shit on stage, have you seen them?” she said. “I fucking dare you. Dare you to throw something at me and I’ll fucking kill you,” Adele warned.

Azealia Banks famously vowed never to perform in Australia again after cancelling her tour in December 2022, citing previous gigs in Melbourne and Sydney in 2013 when she narrowly avoided being hit by beer cans and bottles (as well as the country’s reputation as a “culturally stale white nation” – read us for filth, baby!)

Granted, crowds throwing items onstage isn’t exactly new. David Bowie was once hit in the eye with a lollipop while playing in Oslo and Akon received a fine and 65 hours of community service for throwing a teenager off stage after the same 15-year-old tossed a can at him while performing. However, these examples aside, what was once reserved as a gesture of appreciation and harmless interaction has morphed into something intended to disturb and in worst cases, harm.

Is it all in the name of virality? Are individuals just trying to manufacture moments for TikTok? Or have people genuinely forgotten how to hold themselves while listening to live music? Everyone has their theories. Lockdown and social-distancing means younger audiences have missed out on acclimatising to live music spaces. Hell, there was a time when those of us that did experience that education struggled to recall what it was like for musicians to appear so unguarded and vulnerable in a room of hundreds or thousands. Why would we risk all that again for the sport of shock and impulse?

Buckle up. We’ve got you covered with the full list. The recording academy has released its 2023 nominations for the 65th annual grammy awards. These are exciting times, seeing as the 2022 awards were indefinitely postponed due to the virus who must not be named..

Included in the roundup are some expected heavy hitters like Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift, Doja Cat, Lizzo and Steve Lacy. Notably, in the record of the year category, Adele and Beyonce are both featured for the first time since 2017.

It comes as no surprise to absolutely anyone that Beyoncé ate at the Grammys. Not only is she the top nominee for the 2023 Awards, receiving 9 nominations, but throughout her career, Beyoncé has received 88 grammy nominations. This ties her with her husband Jay- Z for the most Grammy nominations received in history.

The 2023 Grammys air live from the Crypto.com arena (formerly known as the Staples Center) on February 5. Without further ado, check out all the nominees below.

On a disappointing note, only men are nominated for best artist at the 2023 BRIT Awards https://www.russh.com/2023-brit-awards-nominations-snubs/ Mon, 16 Jan 2023 02:30:51 +0000 https://www.russh.com/?p=175961 Thank god George Ezra received a nomination, though.

In 2021, the BRIT Awards scrapped the gendered split for both the best international artist and best artist awards after heeding feedback from non-binary artists like Sam Smith. The point of the change was to recognise artists for their music, and not let arbitrary and outdated understandings of gender dictate nominees. It was a landmark decision, and one that should be adopted by other prestigious awards ceremonies, if you ask me. However, rather than open the floor to more talent, in 2023 it’s had the opposite effect. On January 13, a full list of nominees for the 2023 BRIT Awards on February 11 dropped, and lo and behold, only men – Stormzy, Harry Styles, Fred Again, Central Cee and (inexplicably) George Ezra – are nominated for the gender neutral artist of the year award.

For the love of god, where are the women? Where are the genderqueer artists? And it’s not just the artist of the year award where their absence is deafening. Indie duo Wet Leg are the only women in the running for Album of the Year, which is an odd choice considering Florence + the Machine and Charli XCX exist.

It’s not as though the people making the decisions are an insular group either, the BRIT Awards voting academy are famously a varied 1,000-wide body comprising of record labels, publishers, managers, agents, media, and previous winners and nominees. Which leads one to believe it’s less of a one-person problem, and more so reflective of the state of society as it stands: patriarchal and misogynistic. It’s clear, until the pendulum swings evenly of its own accord, affirmative action is needed.

There are other snubs too. With categories like R&B and Pop blended into one, there’s a notable disparity between what genre of artists are included. British singer Mahalia described the nominations as “nothing short of disrespectful,” per Hypebae. Meanwhile, there’s a call to divide other categories like Hip-Hop/Grime/Rap, where it could be argued that the genres stand out in their own right.

Given how receptive the voting academy has been in the past, it will be interesting to see how they respond to the criticism of the 2023 BRIT Awards.

Find a complete list of the BRIT Awards 2023 nominees, below.

18 pop culture moments from 2022 that have altered our brain chemistry forever https://www.russh.com/biggest-pop-culture-moments-2022/ Mon, 19 Dec 2022 02:20:10 +0000 https://www.russh.com/?p=174912 If we have to relive it, we're dragging you all to hell with us.

The post 18 pop culture moments from 2022 that have altered our brain chemistry forever appeared first on RUSSH.

Looking back on 2022, I’m surprised any of us are still here. This place is deranged and yet somehow, despite all the face slapping, conspiracy theories (some fun, some downright QAnon material), memes, and billionaires buying social platforms, we’re soldiering on. Even if that means hiding under the blankets for the final few days of the year.

In a lot of ways, it felt like the internet was at its most viral this year, and at times we couldn’t tell if it would be it or our brains that would collapse first. Anyway, we’re here to dredge it all up again, so we can forget about it once and for all – except for the occasional bedtime when you remember Heidi Klum as a worm.

Think of it as exposure therapy. Below, the most memorable pop culture moments of 2022.

Julia Fox

A post shared by (@juliafox)

When that Interview story did the rounds just after the New Year, the world was divided. But with distance from ye-who-must-not-be-named, Julia Fox has has won us all over, one DIY outfit and candid TikTok at a time. She’s remained a constant in the news cycle; whether it was people on TikTok being cringe and miming the way she says “Uncut Gems” or through her podcast Forbidden Fruits. Honestly, she’s just an all-round queen and we can’t wait for her to continue her reign in 2023.

Wordle

Me every morning on Twitter now

Wordle 209 X pic.twitter.com/0TcxkAhcWm

— McNeil (@Reflog_18) January 14, 2022

Okay so do you all remember when you lost your minds over this simple little word game? Because truthfully I forgot. Which is insane given how much time we spent talking about it. Have I touched the app, or any of the imitation games, since? Not at all. Yet there has to be someone still addicted because publications continue to post the daily answers. Show yourself!

The Slap (I’m sorry)

As a 40something upper middle class white male who didn’t watch the oscars and only saw a clip of the Will Smith slap this morning, here are my thoughts on violence in the black community

— Nurse D, Fentanyl Survivor (@TakeThatNurses) March 28, 2022

Apologies for bringing it back to this, but Will Smith did slap Chris Rock at the Oscars this year. When the comedian made a joke onstage at the expense of Jada Smith, who has publicly spoken about her experience living with alopecia, Will leapt to his feet and shouted “keep my wife’s name out your fucking mouth”. Naturally the line went viral on TikTok and everyone had a hot take, the best of all coming from Daniel Radcliffe who said he was “just so dramatically bored of hearing people’s opinions about it”.

Dare we say, Depp v Heard

Heard’s closing:

“Think about the message Mr Depp and his legal team are sending to Ms Heard and, by extension, all victims of domestic abuse: If you didn’t take pictures, it didn’t happen. If you did take pictures, they’re fake.”

— Lucia Osborne-Crowley (@LuciaOC_) May 27, 2022

Look, we’re not about to go deep on what happened here. But let us just say if Julia Fox’s rise was the best thing we got from pop culture in 2022, this was the worst. If we could send it back we would. The absolute vitriol and blatant misogyny levelled at Amber Heard across social media was disgusting and depressing. This was one of those times when you wanted to drown your technology in the kitchen sink.

The cursed Little Miss Memes

these “little miss” memes… some of the most unfunny work ever produced by the internet

— zach fruit (@zacharyfruit) July 22, 2022

We love memes. But above all we love funny memes, and the Little Miss brand of humour was deeply unfunny. “Little Miss loves a wine” is the dregs of internet humour. Let us not speak of it again.

Remember the insanity around the Met Gala?

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Met Gala (@themetgalaofficial)

2022 was the year we hit peak Met Gala. Armchair experts all across TikTok couldn’t get enough, and we could barely take in the looks over the chorus of “thAt DrEsS iS nOt on ThEme”. Then there was the whole Marilyn Monroe dress fiasco. Kim Kardashian lost a lot of weight to fit into the blonde bombshell’s “Happy Birthday” dress, and when she returned it to Ripley’s damaged, fashion historians were outraged.

Pete Davidson

Pete Davidson pic.twitter.com/po99cRna0U

— KOJAMF (@alfreds74427060) November 17, 2022

We have to talk about it. 2022 was also the year Pete Davidson was passed around like a grape-flavoured vape. From Kim Kardashian to EmRata, there’s still time to send in your dating predictions for 2023.

Beyonce’s Renaissance

The album is called Renaissance bc Da Vinci and Michelangelo would be kissing in the club if they heard it

— Vinny Thomas (@vinn_ayy) July 29, 2022

If Beyoncé is up to something, we’ll only find out when she wants us to. That being said, the Beyhive has never let a closed door get in the way of sniffing out her next move. And when they got wind of her seventh album, it was all over. Although, when it leaked back in July, they held out for the official release, and promptly after BREAK MY SOUL sounded out on every dance floor and everyone was trying to learn the dance to CUFF IT on TikTok. The internet can be so pure at times.

Jeremy Allen White

the working woman’s Timmy Chalamet https://t.co/yDOijbya9V

— Delia Cai (@delia_cai) July 11, 2022

We have to thank Hulu for allowing us a moment of innocent, unadulterated simping after The Bear star Jeremy Allen White. You’ve helped us in more ways than you can imagine.

BeReal

And in that moment I asked myself: Is posting “late” on BeReal more real because I’m living life away from my phone… pic.twitter.com/Rn0QbGGxFQ

— Chase Purdy (@chasepurdy) July 12, 2022

We may have fallen off the wagon, but BeReal is definitely a fond memory of 2022. And we’d like to thank it, in turn for storing so many of our own fondest memories. Proof that social media can be a source of joy… for a little while at least.

Lea Michelle can’t read

@leamichelelol ♬ original sound – Tik Toker

Do we actually think Lea Michelle can’t read? No. But we’ve got to say it’s the best conspiracy theory to come from the internet this year (even though it first took off in 2017). And we appreciate it when a celebrity can join in on the fun.

The whole Queen Elizabeth II and Trisha Paytas thing

1 cm dilated! Woo hoo!

— Trisha Paytas (@trishapaytas) September 7, 2022

Queen Elizabeth II died this year, in case you weren’t forced into numerous periods of mourning. But what really heightened the stakes on the internet was news that Trisha Paytas had gone into labour, and that the late Queen would be reincarnated into Paytas’ baby, something that had been predicted months prior. Turns out it was too good to be true, and Paytas made a video clearing it all up, but not before we all milked the memes for all they were worth.

“Darling, we’re worried”

@russhmagazine So… the Don’t Worry Darling premiere looked fun. #dontworrydarling #harrystyles #florencepugh #chrispine #oliviawilde #missflo #oliviawildeharrystyles #venicefilmfestival ♬ Sia – Xeptemper

Has someone checked in on Olivia Wilde recently? We need to know how she’s holding up after the chaotic Don’t Worry Darling press tour, which hit its PR crisis peak at Cannes Film Festival. Will we ever know if Harry Styles spit on Chris Pine? Or what the musician-cum-actor really thinks of the film, besides that it “feels like a movie”? I don’t think so. But it’s probably best left that way.

Adam Levine

me vs the hot pocket i just made pic.twitter.com/L8Yb6aC7CU

— Pope (@punishedpope) September 21, 2022

Social media is a precarious place if you’re a high profile person sliding into civilian’s Instagram direct messages, but much more so if you’re married to an equally high profile person. And when Instagram model Sumner Stroe posted on TikTok drawing attention to the year-long affair with the Maroon 5 singer, leaking text messages between them after he asked for permission to name his baby after her, chaos ensued. “That body of yours is absurd” and “I may need to see the booty” were memefied to hell.

Heidi Klum as a worm

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by RUSSH Magazine (@russhmagazine)

The ex Victoria’s Secret model gave us a look at her 21st annual Halloween party that truly was for the citizens of the internet. Her worm costume, which took more than 10 hours to complete, was inspiration, more importantly it summed up how many of us truly felt by the time October 31st rolled around.

That very horny viral clip of Emma D’Arcy

@hbomaxbr Emma D’Arcy falando “negroni… sbagliato… prosecco…” não sai da minha cabeça há 3 dias #ACasaDoDragão #HouseoftheDragon #Rhaenyra #Alicent ♬ Aceitas um negroni sbagliato – HBO Max Brasil

When many of us were thirsty for Emma D’arcy, the House of the Dragon star gave us the perfect cocktail to sip on instead. “A negroni…sbagliato…with prosecco in it”. We’ll take twelve please. Stunning.

Just Stop Oil

BREAKING: SOUP THROWN ON VAN GOGH’S ‘SUNFLOWERS’

Is art worth more than life? More than food? More than justice?

The cost of living crisis and climate crisis is driven by oil and gas.#FreeLouis #FreeJosh #CivilResistance #A22Network #JustStopOil #NoNewOil pic.twitter.com/18T2zSP2ws

— Just Stop Oil (@JustStop_Oil) October 14, 2022

Teens terrorised by the looming threat of climate change, decided to terrorize some art galleries instead, throwing cans of soup on van Gogh’s Sunflowers and gluing their heads to Vermeer’s Girl With The Pearl Earring. Were the upper classes enraged? Like clockwork. Do the protestors have a point? You bet.

The end of Twitter
