While most of us would find it hard to compile a wardrobe completely free from the influence of trends, Billie Eilish is in a lane entirely of her own. Freshly 24, and not only has the musician won the world over with her unique sound, but she’s become some what of a certified trendsetter for her singular style.

Much like her music — which can’t easily be contained into a single genre — Eilish’s style defies easy classification. Where the pop world once expected female stars to flaunt their bodies in skin-tight, glitzy outfits, she’s become a master at flipping these traditional expectations on their head. Rather than giving in to hyper-sexualised standards, she exudes confidence and power in loose-fitting, oversized styles. She’s also undergone quite the transformation in recent years, both in music and fashion. When she first catapulted to fame with the haunting tones of Ocean Eyes, Eilish was a lavender-haired 14-year-old. In the years since, she’s blossomed into a self-assured woman before our eyes, whether she’s belting Happier Than Ever on stage to thousands in baggy pants, an oversized jersey, and sneakers, or walking the red carpet in Willy Chavarria. She’s even added perfumer to her repertoire, with a line of fragrances that recently grew by one. Titled ‘Your Turn’, Eilish’s latest scent is proof that her influence is alive and well, with the deliciously woody concoction met with huge success when it debuted in February.

Eilish has been quite vocal about her changing style — as well as the criticism she’s faced for experimenting with her look, and eschewing trends. Back in 2023, she took to Instagram, writing, “I spent the first 5 years of my career getting absolutely OBLITERATED by you fools for being boyish and dressing how I did & constantly being told I’d be hotter if I acted like a woman. And now when I feel comfortable enough to wear anything remotely feminine or form fitting, I CHANGED and I’m a sellout.”

Critics or not, if her current Hit Me Hard And Soft tour is anything to go by, it seems Eilish has well and truly hit her stride, both musically and in fashion. The stadium tour sees her perform with the kind of stage presence typically honed by someone much older. Her sense of style is also clearly catching on. You need only look out to the hundreds of thousands of fans pouring into her venues — each one in a version of Eilish’s signature baggy shorts, jersey, and head scarf combination (and a spritz of ‘Your Turn’ for good measure)— to see her influence in full effect.

Below, we’re honouring Eilish’s unparalleled personal style, with the singer’s most iconic fashion moments to date.

The post FENDI just collaborated with ‘Emily In Paris’ on the bags everyone will be coveting appeared first on RUSSH.

For fans of Emily in Paris, season five isn’t the only reason to celebrate today. FENDI has released a limited-edition capsule collection featuring two Baguette bags and a Peekaboo bag, crafted to echo the joyful and very fashion-forward energy of the show.

Each piece is made from an exquisite tapestry-effect fabric featuring FENDI’s playful new Dots motif — a creative fusion of the iconic FF logo and Art Deco-inspired polka dots. And if you’ve paid close attention to Emily’s outfits in season five so far, you’ll know that polka dots have already proven a favourite pattern in her wardrobe.

The capsule also celebrates FENDI’s ongoing relationship with Emily in Paris, which continues to blossom on screen. In season five, we’ll see our beloved Emily, played by Lily Collins, navigating the streets of Rome with the Baguette bag in tow, from the historic Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana to the flagship Palazzo FENDI store (obviously). The collection mirrors these adventures, translating the show’s signature mix of sophistication and joie de vivre into tangible accessories that you can incorporate into your own wardrobe.

Beyond their on-screen inspiration, the bags are the perfect statement pieces for those looking to channel Emily’s effortlessly chic and adventurous spirit. Whether styled with a classic trench, a bold mini dress, or even casual jeans, these bags add a touch of Parisian flair — or in season five’s case, Roman elegance — to any outfit.

When and where you can buy them

The FENDI x Emily in Paris capsule collection is available now in a limited release. Fashion enthusiasts can find the two Baguette bags and the Peekaboo bag at select FENDI boutiques worldwide, as well as online.

Given the exclusivity of the collection and the iconic status of both the show and the bags, we’d suggest acting fast if you want to secure one of these collectible pieces. And with Emily in Paris season 5 premiering this on Netflix, there’s no better moment to indulge in a piece of the series’ style.

The post Where to buy everything Emily wore in Paris in Season 5 appeared first on RUSSH.

]]>
If there’s one thing Emily in Paris has taught us over five seasons, it’s that fashion is never just background noise — in fact, we’d argue that her outfits are often a significant part of the plot.

Season five, which landed this week, is no exception. If anything, the wardrobe has levelled up: sharper silhouettes, bolder styling, and a renewed confidence that feels distinctly Emily, but more Parisian (and a little bit Italian) than ever. And once again, the show’s fashion DNA bears the unmistakable stamp of legendary costume designer Patricia Field, whose influence ensures each look feels intentional, expressive and a little bit daring. Given her history working with the likes of Carrie Bradshaw and Andy Sachs, is it any surprise that Emily is impeccably dressed?

So, if you’ve found yourself pausing mid-episode to screenshot a jumpsuit, a bag, or an impossibly good pair of heels, you’re in the right place. Below, we break down exactly where to buy Emily Cooper’s most memorable outfits from Emily in Paris season five.

A green ensemble

Our eyes were immediately drawn to this green look. You can’t see it here, but she’s giving us a lesson in pattern clashing, pairing the Sébline shirt and jacket with geometric bermuda shorts by Claudie Pierlot, a green crossbody bag, and a paisley green tote. Not all of it is available online, but we’ve managed to find a few pieces below.

Call It By Your Name Trapeze Bag

SÉBLINE Ruffle Polo Shirt

SÉBLINE Embroidered Smoking Jacket

FRANCESCA BELLAVITA Lollie Bucket Bag

A chic travel look

Doesn’t everyone pull out their matching paisley suit for a day of travel? Naturally, she’s also carrying a FENDI Peekaboo on her journey — fitting, considering FENDI has just announced a capsule collection in collaboration with the show.

Shop the look below.

ALICE + OLIVIA Breann Fitted Blazer

IZIE Highbury Boot

FENDI Peekaboo ISeeU Petite in light burgundy

A dotty matching set

This is arguably our favourite look of the season (so far). And luckily, you can get your hands on just about all of it, below.

For Love and Lemons Dolly Dot Denim Button-Down Top and skort

All aboard the Vespa

What’d we’d give to be riding around Rome in a DVF jumpsuit…

DIANE VON FURSTENBURG Michele printed stretch-jersey wide-leg jumpsuit

SCHUTZ Keefa Platform Heel

Another polka dot set, for good measure

We’re obsessed with the vintage vibes of this look, which comes courtesy of Moschino.

We just got an update on Benito Skinner’s ‘Overcompensating’ season two https://www.russh.com/overcompensating-season-two/ Thu, 18 Dec 2025 21:00:23 +0000 https://www.russh.com/?p=258740 We're obsessed (bleep it).

The post We just got an update on Benito Skinner’s ‘Overcompensating’ season two appeared first on RUSSH.

]]>
If you know us, you know we’re obsessed (bleep it) with Benito Skinner. From his podcast to his Instagram skits, we eat up everything the comedian puts into the universe. Naturally, news of his debut series, Overcompensating, was music to our ears, and we were quick to watch the first season in its entirety. But an Overcompensating-shaped hole has loomed large in our lives since the credits rolled on the final episode, and we’ve been dreaming of the day season two might finally get confirmed. Now, it’s finally been filled — with season two en route. Here’s what we know.

Yes, season two is happening

Skinner took to Instagram to share the news, finally putting an end to mounting speculation about the fate of the series.

“WE’RE OFFICIALLY GOING BACK 2 SCHOOL,” he wrote. “Thank you so much for all your insane love for this show. And thank you for being so patient while Daddy’s been cooking season 2.”

A post shared by Benito Skinner (@bennydrama7)

When will season two come out?

This much remains to be seen. The latest update comes courtesy of Kyle McLachlan, who starred in season one as Skinner’s dad. Speaking on the red carpet at the premiere of Fallout season 2, he said, “I know that Benny and the group are in the writers room, and I know they’re working away. But I am as curious as you are about what they have up their sleeve, so we’ll see. I mean, whatever it is, it’ll be great.”

We know season one (which is loosely based on Skinner’s own coming out story) took around five years to develop. We’re hopeful that the season two timeline might be a little shorter, but we’ll keep you updated when we know more.

A writers room has reportedly already been formed

Long before season two was made concrete, rumours were swirling that a writers room had already been formed. Film Updates reported that a writers room for the second season was “in progress” back in July, and Amazon had been “praising the show’s passionate fanbase and strong completion rates.” They were quick to temper this news by saying that show hadn’t been formally renewed, however the outlet also said that conversations were ongoing, and an outcome was expected imminently.

A post shared by Film Updates (@filmupdatesmain)

Benny teased a second season on TikTok

Skinner soft-launched the idea of a second season on TikTok, where he posted a video with friend and Overcompensating cast member Owen Thiele dancing, writing simply: “Benny in season 2…”

It goes without saying that the comment section went into overdrive, with users commenting, “Is this how you confirm season 2???” and, “This better be your way of announcing a season two.”

Season two could feature a cameo from Terry’s mum

If you’re a fan of Skinner, chances are you also love his ex-boyfriend, Terry O’Connor. O’Connor is a photographer and creative (credited with Charli xcx’s Brat rollout), and he (and his mum) are a frequent topic of conversation on Skinner’s social media. When we chatted with Skinner about the possibility of a cameo from Skinner’s mum, he shared: “We tried to get Terry’s mum in this, but she had a tee time…. She’s very busy right now.”

Wait, is Harry Styles about to announce a stadium tour? https://www.russh.com/harry-styles-tour-2026-2027-tickets-dates/ Thu, 18 Dec 2025 00:00:53 +0000 https://www.russh.com/?p=275112 Christmas has come early.

The post Wait, is Harry Styles about to announce a stadium tour? appeared first on RUSSH.

]]>
The gaping hole left in our lives by Harry Styles’ current hiatus is well documented. And while we’ve been hyper-fixated on if (and when) the British singer might drop his fourth album, it seems a whole new rumour has started, right under our noses. Yep, if our sources are correct, not only is Styles rewarding our patience with new music in 2026, but a stadium tour schedule to accompany it.

Here’s what we know.

Harry Styles reportedly has 12 shows on the horizon in 2026

It’s all thanks to Deux Moi, which alleged in its December 8 newsletter that the singer is gearing up for 12 stadium shows in the UK in 2026, and even more in 2027.

The unnamed source also guessed that Styles might follow a similar touring pattern as Taylor Swift’s mega Eras shows, which utilised London’s Wembley Stadium.

Styles is also a favourite to headline Glastonbury in 2027

While the iconic British festival will go on hiatus in 2026, Styles is currently a rumoured frontrunner to take to the stage in 2027. Of course, fans have been quick to notice that this would align with the above touring dates…

Strengthening this rumour, an unnamed record label source recently told The Daily Mail, “Harry was gutted not to do this year’s [2025] Glastonbury Festival, but he’s near certain to play at the next one, which due to the fallow year in 2026, doesn’t take place until 2027.”

Over on Reddit, other fans have noted that Styles previously waited for a spot at Coachella to debut Harry’s House, so he might do the same at Glastonbury in 2027.

Would it be a stadium tour?

The dominant theory online is yes. With Styles’ fan base only growing, it seems likely that he’d expand his next tour to an arena-style, to maximise the amount of fans who get to attend.

However, one Reddit user pointed out that Styles has previously shown an affinity for stadiums, deep-diving the venues he has previously played in to estimate where he might go next time: “He loves MSG [Madison Square Garden] and The Forum [California], I don’t see him not playing both of those. Wembley definitely. Probably the new space in Manchester he’s invested in.”

An Australian visit is apparently “100%” on the cards

Yes, that is the sound of us squealing. Back in August, The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick radio show claimed that Styles had not only finished his new album, but was heading Down Under to promote it in 2026.

“I’ve got some hot press,” Fev began on August 21. “It was word of mouth, straight from a very, very close confidant. Harry Styles has now completed his album; it’s been completed for about a month.”

He continued, “He’s going to be releasing that album, maybe late this year or early next year. When an album gets released, what do they do? They tour. He’ll be touring Australia next year. 100% coming to Australia. It’s huge news.”

Huge news indeed. We’ll keep you updated as we know more.Feature image: one, two.

Every book being adapted into film and TV in 2026 https://www.russh.com/book-adaptations-2026/ Wed, 17 Dec 2025 22:30:42 +0000 https://www.russh.com/?p=272140 Plus, when you'll be able to watch them.

The post Every book being adapted into film and TV in 2026 appeared first on RUSSH.

]]>
If there’s one thing we never get tired of, it’s watching our favourite reads take on a second life. And 2026 is shaping up to be another stacked year for book lovers, with both film and television turning to novels old and new for their next big stories.

From modern cult favourites to classic literature with a twist, these are the book-to-screen adaptations set to define the next year. Consider this your reminder to get reading.

1. People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry

people we meet on vacation

Release date: January 9, 2026

Emily Henry’s cult-favourite friends-to-lovers romance is officially getting the Netflix treatment. The story centres on Poppy and Alex, two opposites who are somehow best friends — until a disastrous holiday ended their annual summer trips. Two years later, Poppy convinces Alex to give it one more go, hoping the getaway will fix whatever broke between them. Emily Bader stars as Poppy, with Tom Blyth as Alex, joined by Sarah Catherine Hook, Jameela Jamil, Molly Shannon and Lukas Gage.

2. Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë

Release date: 14 February, 2026

Oh we’ve been waiting for this one. Emerald Fennell is taking on Brontë’s stormiest masterpiece, with Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi cast as Catherine and Heathcliff. Produced by Robbie’s company LuckyChap, the film promises a modern, sensorial take on the doomed lovers who haunt the Yorkshire moors – just listen to Charli XCX’s original score for proof. If Fennell’s track record (Saltburn, Promising Young Woman, the list goes on) means anything, this will be lush, provocative, and rich in symbolism.

3. Sense & Sensibility by Jane Austen

Release date: September 11, 2026

A new generation is getting its own Sense & Sensibility. Starring Daisy Edgar-Jones, Esmé Creed-Miles and George MacKay, this adaptation promises a sharper, more youthful lens on Austen’s story of love, restraint and social pressure – particularly considering the screenplay was written by Australia’s own Diana Reid. We can’t wait to be re-introduced to the Dashwood sisters.

4. Verity by Colleen Hoover

Release date: October 2, 2026

Colleen Hoover’s psychological thriller is stepping into the spotlight at last. Verity is heading to the big screen with Dakota Johnson, Anne Hathaway, and Josh Hartnett in the lead roles — perfect casting for this twisted trio, if we do say so ourselves. The plot centres on Lowen, a struggling writer hired to complete a bestselling author’s unfinished novels, only to uncover something darker in the family home. Expect a twisty adaptation that leans into the book’s most unsettling turns.

5. Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins

Release date: November 20, 2026

The Hunger Games is looking back — this time through the eyes of a young Haymitch Abernathy. Suzanne Collins’ newest prequel traces the brutal events of the 50th Hunger Games, long before Katniss ever stepped into the arena. With a teaser trailer already here, expect a darker, more political origin story that deepens the mythology of Panem.

6. Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew by C.S. Lewis

Release date: November 26, 2026

Greta Gerwig’s next major literary adaptation is a return to Narnia — but not the version we’ve seen on screen before. The Magician’s Nephew, the origin story of the entire Chronicles, follows the creation of Narnia, the first appearance of the White Witch, and the earliest magic that shaped the world. With Netflix backing it and a late-2026 release planned, it’s set to be one of the year’s biggest fantasy events.

7. Heartstopper Forever by Alice Oseman

Release date: TBC

Nick and Charlie’s story isn’t ending quietly. The final instalment of Alice Oseman’s graphic-novel series is being adapted as a feature-length film, set to close the Heartstopper universe with one last chapter in 2026. Expect tenderness, growing pains and a heartfelt send-off to one of the most beloved queer love stories of the decade.

8. Margo’s Got Money Troubles by Rufi Thorpe

Release date: TBC

Rufi Thorpe’s novel is heading to television with an A-list cast to match. The series follows Margo Millet — a young single mum trying to stay afloat after dropping out of college — who turns to OnlyFans as a last-ditch attempt to make rent. When her estranged father, a washed-up pro wrestler, reappears, Margo’s life becomes even more chaotic (and unexpectedly funny). Elle Fanning is set to lead the series, with Michelle Pfeiffer playing her mother and Nicole Kidman attached in a still-unknown role.

9. Scarpetta by Patricia Cornwell

scarpetta

Release date: March 11 2026, on Prime Video

Another Nicole Kidman-centric masterpiece, though this one falls into the crime thriller category. Scarpetta borrows its plot from Patricia Cornwell’s novels, charting the highly skilled Dr. Kay Scarpetta (played by Kidman), who resolves to uncover the identity of a serial killer, while at the same time proving her career-making case from 28 years prior isn’t also her undoing.

There are some equally big names rounding out the cast, including Jamie Lee Curtis, Simon Baker, Ariana DeBose, and Bobby Cannavale.

10. The God of the Woods by Liz Moore

god of the woods

Release date: TBC

This New York Times best seller is heading to Netflix, as an hour-long series. There’s no word on casting yet, but allow us to catch you up on the plot. It’s described as “a multi-generational drama series set in the Adirondacks, exploring the Van Laar family’s dark secrets, class tensions, and the mysteries surrounding the disappearance of 13 year old Barbara Van Laar from her family’s summer camp—in the wake of an earlier family tragedy that may be related. As the past and present collide, the Van Laars’ wealth and influence unravel, revealing the damaging consequences of privilege and the abuse of power.” We’re listening.

It’s fashion that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and that’s precisely the appeal.

If there’s one toxic relationship we wish could play out for eternity, it would be Lucy and Stephen’s in Tell Me Lies. Now, that wish has been granted — at least for another eight episodes, with the series renewed for a third season, which is very nearly on our screens.

For the first two series, we’ve become addicted to the drama of the duo — played by real-life couple Grace Van Patten and Jackson White — who go from university flames to one of the most catatonic relationships we’ve ever seen. Think things couldn’t get any worse? When it concerns Lucy and Stephen, they really can. As for where the pair will take us in season three, find all the important details, below.

When will Tell Me Lies season three come out?

It’s officially been revealed that the first two episodes of season three will hit our screens on January 13, 2026.

There’s a total of eight episodes on the season, with the season finale airing on February 24, 2026.

Eagle-eyed fans have been watching closely for updates on the third season since filming got underway, even taking to TikTok to share footage of Van Patten in action, with the actress spotted in a robe between takes, sporting some very heavy eye makeup.

Hulu also shared a picture of Van patten on set, along with the caption, “we are so back. Tell Me Lies S3 now in production.”

What is Tell Me Lies season three about?

Without giving too much away, season two ended on a pretty significant cliffhanger, so there are plenty of storylines to go on with in season three. The series is based on on the 2018 novel by the same name by Carola Lovering, so we’d hazard that the next episodes will continue to consult this storyline.

The official logline says season three “follows Lucy Albright (Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco (White) as they’ve rekindled their tumultuous romance in time for spring semester at Baird College. While they promise things will be different this time, past indiscretions hinder their best intentions, and Lucy finds herself embroiled in a controversy she wants nothing to do with. Meanwhile, the disastrous repercussions from the previous year also force Lucy and Stephen’s friends to face their own destructive behaviours. As scandalous secrets fester around campus, vicious consequences threaten Lucy and everyone in her circle.”

Who is cast in Tell Me Lies season three?

It would be hard to continue the story without the original cast on board: Lucy, Stephen, Pippa, Bree, Diana, Wrigley, and Evan. There are also a few side characters we’d love to see return in season three. Namely, Oliver, Marianne, Lydia, and Leo.

And new to the cast in season three is Iris Apatow, who has been confirmed as a series regular. According to Deadline, Apatow will play the role of Amanda, a bubbly but fragile college freshman keeping a big secret. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?

Costa D’Angelo is also a new series regular, playing Alex, a psychology grad student and part-time drug dealer who has a complicated past with Bree.

What do we know about Tell Me Lies season three?

The drama-fuelled show was picked up for another series two months after season two aired. It was relatively expected, with the second season garnering a cult following, and staying in Hulu’s Top 15 shows for more than 50 consecutive days.

It looks like there could be potential for even more Tell Me Lies goodness, beyond season three, with executive producer and showrunner Meaghan Oppenheimer also signing an overall deal with 20th TV, a part of Disney Television Studios. This will see her continue to helm Tell Me Lies, while also developing, writing and executive producing more original series. Yes please.
