The post ‘RUSSH’ loves: Beauty Favourites From December 2025 appeared first on RUSSH.

We’re officially in the final days of the year. Laptops close, automatic replies are turned on – all that lies ahead is a slow summer and plenty of time with loved ones. December also presents a much needed opportunity for R&R (the end of year party season hits different). Think bathing rituals, masks, uplifting scents, sun protection and easy makeup that makes those beach turned lunch turned dinner plans a breeze.

Whether you’re looking to reset, buy yourself a late holiday gift to self or update your vanity for the new year, here are our RUSSH beauty favourites for December 2025. Enjoy what’s left of your 2025.

Prada Beauty Hand Cream

This is the perfect hand cream: cute packaging, a beautiful smell and a lightweight but supremely nourishing formula.

Onitsuka Tiger One

If you’re looking for a fragrance that’s woody and meditative but still subtle, the latest from Onitsuka Tiger is perfect. There’s notes of mint, lemon, jasmine and heady patchouli.

The Onitsuka Tiger fragrance collection is available worldwide, but exclusively in Australia at the George Street boutique, Sydney.

Emma Lewisham Sunceutical SPF 50+ Mineral Face Cream

This is not new per se, but the hero of any summer beauty routine: an ultra glowy SPF with added skincare benefits. It’s all you need, really.

Tom Ford Oud Voyager

A perfume that’s perfect for party season, Oud Voyager is bursting with rare red peony, oud and geranium.

Le Labo Santal 33 Liquid Balm

If you’re a Santal fan but prefer the idea of an alcohol free oil, it will come as welcome news that Le Labo have done just that. With all the woody, smoky charm of the original, it wears beautifully on the skin (perfect for a balmy summer).

Trudon Libra Festive Candle

Inspired by the night sky and liquid gold, this festive candle is warm, spicy and elegant.

Victoria Beckham Beauty Lip Liner

VB knew what she was doing with this one – it’s precise but creamy and surprisingly long wearing for a lip liner.

Here’s our (non-exhaustive) list of actually cool restaurants in the Gold Coast https://www.russh.com/cool-restaurants-in-the-gold-coast/ Fri, 19 Dec 2025 04:45:51 +0000 https://www.russh.com/?p=274804 Breezy bars and chic restaurants.

The post Here’s our (non-exhaustive) list of actually cool restaurants in the Gold Coast appeared first on RUSSH.

]]>
The Gold Coast is one of those underrated gems that we haven’t really taken to yet as a mecca for great food. But if you’re in the category of people still generalising the coastal region as merely a town for surfers and partiers – you’d be sorely mistaken.

In fact, as a former resident myself, I’d like to put the record straight. And in recent years, we’ve seen areas like Burleigh Heads and Kirra and Mermaid Beach begin to really come into their own as foodie hot-spots have thrust open their doors.

But if you’d like some guidance on where to go when you’re in town, then look no further. While we’re not self-appointing ourselves the arbiters of cool, we’d like to think we’ve cultivated some pretty good taste over the years – and this is our non-exhaustive but fairly definitive guide to the best and coolest restaurants to try in the Gold Coast right now.

1. Rick Shores (Burleigh Heads)

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Rick Shores (@imrickshores)

Best for: Bug rolls, oceanside spritzes, canapés.

Open: Every day

Rick Shores is a bit of a Gold Coast institution and a favourite of both locals and visitors alike. Even Austin Butler famously loved their Moreton Bay bug rolls, a dish he became obsessed with while filming Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis on Australia’s Gold Coast. The menu focuses on fresh, locally-sourced produce for a Pan-Asian inspired menu of dumplings, curries, roasted duck and more. We’d suggest booking ahead for weekends and groups, as this spot is pretty popular. Bookings are for a two hour dining period and only includes indoor seating. If you’re hoping to make the most of some good weather, you’ll need to walk in for a table outside.

2. The North Room (Mermaid Beach)

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by The North Room (@northroommermaid)

Best for: Wine-fuelled evenings, pretzel bread, cheese toasties.

Open: Thursday–Saturday

The North Room is itty-bitty – seating a maximum of 20 guests over two sittings per evening (or for lunch). Their share-style food and wine menu is ever-changing, featuring stellar faves like pork jowl with blood oranges, beef short ribs with eggplant and salt bush or their ever-famous house pretzel bread. The cuisine is European-leaning, and the ambience is buttery smooth. And for the oenophiles among us, they received the 3 glass award for their wine list for the second year running in 2025. On Fridays, they’ve also started offering a two-course lunch for $55pp (a steal, if you ask us).

3. Hanks Kirra (Coolangatta)

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Hanks. (@hanks_kirra)

Best for: fresh handmade pasta, frosty cocktails, charcuterie.

Open: Tuesday–Sunday

We’re a sucker for any place named after a family pet and Hanks (named after the owners’ beloved German Shepherd) is no exception. No meal at Hanks is started without a generous order of their Schiacciata (an Italian flatbread served warm), and finished without some cannolis or biscotti. They have an ample (and completely separate) vegetarian and vegan menu, which makes dining with groups a breeze (they have a great private dining room too that seats up to 26 of your mates). Expansive open windows and a 40-strong cocktail list make for a great afternoon or evening of people-watching too.

4. Yamagen (Surfers Paradise)

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Yamagen Japanese (@yamagenjapanese)

Best for: izakaya, pastry masters, sashimi.

Open: Every day

Yamagen in the QT Hotel boasts itself as the Gold Coast’s first Japanese fine dining restaurant, but we’d be remiss for not also mentioning it’s one of Queensland’s largest Japanese whisky collections (over 65 bottles and counting). The Japanese BBQ restaurant and sushi bar puts on live cooking displays and their menu works its way around sushi and delicate market-fresh sashimi. If you’re driving in, the venue also offers complimentary parking for up to one hour.

5. Frida Sol Mexican (Palm Beach)

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Frida Sol (@fridasolpalmbeach)

Best for: Taco Tuesdays, Happy Hours, post-swim feeds.

Open: Every day

Perched on a rooftop, this Mexican bar and taqueria is the spot to hit on a Tuesday – where tacos are $6 and sangria’s are flowing for $20 a jug. The menu is full of Mexican classics with a modern twist – from market fish ceviche to beef cheek empanadas. On a sunny day, we’d suggest parking yourself outside at one of their high tables under a shaggy dry grass umbrella, and washing down some tacos with the very best Coconut Margarita on the coast.

6. Restaurant Labart (Burleigh Heads)

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Restaurant Labart (@restaurantlabart)

Best for: long lunches, late dinners, grilled prawns.

Open: Wednesday–Sunday

Labart is a gem in Burleigh that was even awarded the Best Restaurant in QLD at the 2024 Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Awards. They’re famous for their grilled prawns (which haven’t left the menu since they landed). They’ve been in business for more than seven years now, and are always buzzing. From Friday–Sunday from 12pm, they host delectable long lunches, and have an excellent cocktail hour that runs from 4:30–5:30pm (Wednesday through Saturday) and 12–4pm (Fridays lunch), where you’ll find yourself able to park with a $12 cocktail or rotating wine.

7. Norté (Mermaid Beach)

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Norté (@norte.restaurant)

Best for: agave cocktails, moody interiors, steak.

Open: Wednesday–Monday

Latin American flavours are the centrepiece of Norté – a dining room, agave bar and open-air terrace downstairs from Sueno Rooftop. You’ll find slow-cooked short rib al pastor, Mushroom Tetela (a Norté staff favourite), or even dip your toes into some Dulce de Leche Gelato with Burnt Italian Meringue. Their lunch set men (available Friday–Sunday) is a steal – three courses for $55pp.

8. Lucia Tapas (Tugun)

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by LUCIA (@lucia_tapas)

Best for: Friday night cocktails, tapas hour, alfresco dining.

Open: Wednesday-Sunday

There’s no better place to maximise a Gold Coast day than alfresco at LUCIA. Their pink-hued courtyard plays host to live music and drag bingo – and a couple of resident lizards too. You can get in on plenty of Spanish classics like Paella, Jamon and Steak – as well as some frosty cocktails for those hot afternoons and evenings. (They do $15 cocktails all night long on Fridays.) There are plenty of small plates if you’re just looking to snack and share over a couple of drinks – or you can Uber Eats the whole feast to your home directly.

9. Oi Zakaya Japanese (Burleigh Heads)

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by oi (@oiizakaya)

Best for: affordable but delicious eats.

Open: Tuesday–Saturday

This Japanese restaurant and whisky bar in Burleigh Heads came as a personal recommendation from friends who live in the area – mostly for its infamous $1 gyoza on Tuesdays. They do sushi, tempura, okonomiyaki and plenty of other Izakaya faves – and they’ve also started doing an epic wagyu sando that you shouldn’t miss out on.

10. Madame V (Palm Beach)

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Madame V (@madame.v.palmbeach)

Best for: Yum Cha, classic Japanese fare, great cocktails.

Open: Wednesday–Sunday

Madame V lives up to its namesake with luxe interiors and plush banquettes to lounge in. They offer a-la-carte dining, and also operate as a lounge bar – but their Sunday Yum Cha menu is where it’s at. It includes all your favourite yum cha dumplings, along with some of their most beloved dishes like miso eggplant and kingfish.

11. Siblings (Kirra Beach)

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Siblings (@siblings_kirra)

Best for: Surf watching, celebratory meals, summer afternoons.

Open: Every day

A popular spot amongst locals, Siblings is set every so slightly off the sand at Kirra. They’re open for lunch and dinner every day and you can opt to sit in their air-conditioned interiors or alfresco to enjoy the best of summer on the GC. Their menu offerings are pretty expansive and Mediterranean-leaning, so it’s a great place to take a crowd – or you can opt to stop by for a couple of drinks and snacks post-swim too.

12. Light Years (Burleigh Heads)

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by LIGHT YEARS (@lightyearsasiandiner)

Best for: Asian-fusion, share-style dishes, light bites.

Open: Every day

You may have headed to one of their sister locations in Byron, Noosa, Newcastle or Perth – but they also have a spot in Burleigh. They do some of the best Asian-fusion dishes – from pineapple pork belly to san choy bao. Their Burleigh digs is super cute and colourful – and just a stone’s throw from the beach itself.

13. Haven at the Mondrian (Burleigh Heads)

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Haven (@haven_burleighheads)

Best for: Poolside drinks, and feeling like your on vacation (even if you’re not).

Open: Every day

Poolside vegetating never looked so good. The newly opened Mondrian in Burleigh boasts a few food and beverage stops, but we’re touting their pool-side venue Haven as the must-visit. It’s local produce cooked over fire (in their giant, woodfired oven). The interiors are stunning and enjoy some live entertainment as the restaurant also operates as the hotels’ pool club (with DJS and cocktails circulating through the cabanas). You can also book out parts of the venue for private events if you’ve got a special occasion on the cards.

14. Palette (Surfer’s Paradise)

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Palette Restaurant (@palette.hota)

Best for: High tea, tiny sandwiches, post-exhibition feeds.

Open: Every day

The Gold Coast’s HOTA precinct (Home of the Arts) has quickly become a mecca of exhibitions, creative events and more for the coast. And their on-site restaurant Palette is an extension of their artistic endeavours in the realm of the gustatory. They do an excellent two-hour High Tea setting that includes a selection of savoury and sweet treats with a pot of Tavalon tea, or you can pop in a la carte for a lunch or dinner that will truly blow your mind (and palette) away.

When it comes to personal style, no one is doing it like Billie Eilish https://www.russh.com/billie-eilish-style/ Fri, 19 Dec 2025 04:00:00 +0000 https://www.russh.com/?p=243610 The 23-year-old is in a lane entirely of her own.

While most of us would find it hard to compile a wardrobe completely free from the influence of trends, Billie Eilish is in a lane entirely of her own. Freshly 24, and not only has the musician won the world over with her unique sound, but she’s become some what of a certified trendsetter for her singular style.

Much like her music — which can’t easily be contained into a single genre — Eilish’s style defies easy classification. Where the pop world once expected female stars to flaunt their bodies in skin-tight, glitzy outfits, she’s become a master at flipping these traditional expectations on their head. Rather than giving in to hyper-sexualised standards, she exudes confidence and power in loose-fitting, oversized styles. She’s also undergone quite the transformation in recent years, both in music and fashion. When she first catapulted to fame with the haunting tones of Ocean Eyes, Eilish was a lavender-haired 14-year-old. In the years since, she’s blossomed into a self-assured woman before our eyes, whether she’s belting Happier Than Ever on stage to thousands in baggy pants, an oversized jersey, and sneakers, or walking the red carpet in Willy Chavarria. She’s even added perfumer to her repertoire, with a line of fragrances that recently grew by one. Titled ‘Your Turn’, Eilish’s latest scent is proof that her influence is alive and well, with the deliciously woody concoction met with huge success when it debuted in February.

Eilish has been quite vocal about her changing style — as well as the criticism she’s faced for experimenting with her look, and eschewing trends. Back in 2023, she took to Instagram, writing, “I spent the first 5 years of my career getting absolutely OBLITERATED by you fools for being boyish and dressing how I did & constantly being told I’d be hotter if I acted like a woman. And now when I feel comfortable enough to wear anything remotely feminine or form fitting, I CHANGED and I’m a sellout.”

Critics or not, if her current Hit Me Hard And Soft tour is anything to go by, it seems Eilish has well and truly hit her stride, both musically and in fashion. The stadium tour sees her perform with the kind of stage presence typically honed by someone much older. Her sense of style is also clearly catching on. You need only look out to the hundreds of thousands of fans pouring into her venues — each one in a version of Eilish’s signature baggy shorts, jersey, and head scarf combination (and a spritz of ‘Your Turn’ for good measure)— to see her influence in full effect.

Below, we’re honouring Eilish’s unparalleled personal style, with the singer’s most iconic fashion moments to date.

The Creative Director of Comme Des Garçons Parfums on creativity, Kawakubo and his favourite smell in the world https://www.russh.com/comme-des-garcon-parfums-christian-astugeuvieille/ Fri, 19 Dec 2025 02:45:09 +0000 https://www.russh.com/?p=275123 You’ll never guess…

The post The Creative Director of Comme Des Garçons Parfums on creativity, Kawakubo and his favourite smell in the world appeared first on RUSSH.

]]>
Deconstruction is a Comme Des Garçons fragrance signature. Almost every scent released by the house embodies a sense of stripped-back reality. There’s very little romance and zero stories about rare flowers picked under the full moon. Instead, they reflect back to us a version of modern urban life in olfactory form; perfumes anchored by industrial notes like concrete, ink, photocopier toner, metal, tar, nail polish, gas, wind and cigarettes.

The man behind this anti-perfume perfume empire is Creative Director Christian Astuguevieille. A multi-hyphenate, he’s also a designer and artist who works closely with Rei Kawakubo on the Comme Des Garçon fine fragrance offering. Astuguevielle actually introduced the perfume atelier with the original Eau de Parfum in 1994. He’s been shaping its creative direction ever since, and is the man behind hits like Concrete, Wonderwood, Wonderoud and Amazingreen. It’s the antithesis of all the sweet gourmands that permeate FragranceTok today – Comme Des Garçons is abstract, weird and beautiful – not everyone’s cup of tea but a lifelong signature for some.

The house also recently collaborated with Mecca on Zero Than Pink, a limited pink-wrapped version of the iconic Zero fragrance. With weird notes of squeaky varnish, rose, vetiver and musk, it’s soft and vintage but synthetic all at once.

In celebration of the special collaboration, RUSSH spoke with Astuguevieille on creativity, uniqueness, his obsession with weird synthetic notes, working with Kawakubo, his enduring desire to be different and the best smell in the world.

The complete interview, below.

To begin, tell me about your earliest perfume-related memory?

A summer walk in Provence – the scent released from a crushed fig leaf.

So how did you approach or think about the initial Comme des Garçons fragrance; what was the creative vision or idea you had in mind?

The final concept, together with Rei Kawakubo and Adrian Joffe, was to try to be very different from all the fragrances available on the market at that time. The idea was to cultivate difference — from the bottle design to the fragrance itself and as well as in its vacuum packaging.

You often work with perfumers to bring your ideas to life; what do you look for in a collaborator?

I look for attentive listening, a deep understanding of the projects, freedom and a touch of madness. Above all, I loom for perfumers who work with as few constraints as possible.

What about Rei Kawakubo? How would you describe your creative dialogue with her when developing a fragrance?

Our olfactory process unfolds in two phases: Rei Kawakubo shares her ideas, I add my own suggestions and together we define several creative directions. From there, I collaborate with perfumers on multiple briefs. After a few months, I present fragrances to Rei and the team that reflect the original concept. We smell them together — Rei and Adrian — and if they like them, we move forward. If not, we go back and I restart the research again.

And where does the creative process for a new scent begin? Do you consider a texture, a material or a mood?

The process begins first and foremost with a concept, and then develops through a mix of different materials, often breaking away from traditional scents — all with freedom and boldness, without compromise.

Tell me about your fascination with materials like rubber, wood, concrete and metals – how do these influence your work?

My desire for different raw materials feels natural in relation to everyday life, really. Rubber, tar, nail polish, smoky woods, concrete and tea are smells we encounter daily. Personally, I think they bring new and unconventional raw materials into perfumery.

Comme des Garçons Parfums has a cult following for its unexpectedness. Do you ever feel pressure to surprise people?

It’s not about trying to surprise… I think the desire is rather to surprise ourselves.

Let’s say you’re working on a scent and you’ve gone through multiple iterations – how do you know when it’s finally finished?

This decision is actually made by a very small team. At a certain point, when you’re deep in testing and smelling a new project, we get to a point where we’re certain it meets our expectations, as well as the original concept.

What continues to inspire you to create scents that challenge convention?

Probably the constant desire to be different while remaining appealing and original. I aim to create fragrances that attract very different kinds of people.

Which Comme des Garçons fragrance do you feel most connected to personally?

Odeur 53. Above all, it is a manifesto for a different kind of perfumery.

What scents are grounding you in your own day-to-day life?

The scents in my daily life are vetiver, incense and tar. But above all, I’m deeply inspired by smelling and wearing future Comme des Garçons projects.

Perfumery is becoming increasingly commercial and trend-driven. How do you maintain a sense of purity within the landscape?

Our olfactory work is never, ever based on current trends. In fact, it’s the opposite. We work with raw materials and new molecules that we develop in collaboration with perfumers.

What do you hope people feel when they wear one of your scents?

Different, strong and original.

And finally, in your opinion, what is the best smell in the world?

A July evening in a village in Provence, in a small alley between two enclosed gardens overflowing with jasmine, but the alley has just been freshly tarred. That, to me, is perfect.

FENDI just collaborated with ‘Emily In Paris’ on the bags everyone will be coveting https://www.russh.com/fendi-emily-in-paris-collection-where-to-buy/ Fri, 19 Dec 2025 00:52:01 +0000 https://www.russh.com/?p=275292 You'll want to add these to your Christmas list.

The post FENDI just collaborated with ‘Emily In Paris’ on the bags everyone will be coveting appeared first on RUSSH.

For fans of Emily in Paris, season five isn’t the only reason to celebrate today. FENDI has released a limited-edition capsule collection featuring two Baguette bags and a Peekaboo bag, crafted to echo the joyful and very fashion-forward energy of the show.

Each piece is made from an exquisite tapestry-effect fabric featuring FENDI’s playful new Dots motif — a creative fusion of the iconic FF logo and Art Deco-inspired polka dots. And if you’ve paid close attention to Emily’s outfits in season five so far, you’ll know that polka dots have already proven a favourite pattern in her wardrobe.

The capsule also celebrates FENDI’s ongoing relationship with Emily in Paris, which continues to blossom on screen. In season five, we’ll see our beloved Emily, played by Lily Collins, navigating the streets of Rome with the Baguette bag in tow, from the historic Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana to the flagship Palazzo FENDI store (obviously). The collection mirrors these adventures, translating the show’s signature mix of sophistication and joie de vivre into tangible accessories that you can incorporate into your own wardrobe.

Beyond their on-screen inspiration, the bags are the perfect statement pieces for those looking to channel Emily’s effortlessly chic and adventurous spirit. Whether styled with a classic trench, a bold mini dress, or even casual jeans, these bags add a touch of Parisian flair — or in season five’s case, Roman elegance — to any outfit.

When and where you can buy them

The FENDI x Emily in Paris capsule collection is available now in a limited release. Fashion enthusiasts can find the two Baguette bags and the Peekaboo bag at select FENDI boutiques worldwide, as well as online.

Given the exclusivity of the collection and the iconic status of both the show and the bags, we’d suggest acting fast if you want to secure one of these collectible pieces. And with Emily in Paris season 5 premiering this on Netflix, there’s no better moment to indulge in a piece of the series’ style.

If there’s one thing Emily in Paris has taught us over five seasons, it’s that fashion is never just background noise — in fact, we’d argue that her outfits are often a significant part of the plot.

Season five, which landed this week, is no exception. If anything, the wardrobe has levelled up: sharper silhouettes, bolder styling, and a renewed confidence that feels distinctly Emily, but more Parisian (and a little bit Italian) than ever. And once again, the show’s fashion DNA bears the unmistakable stamp of legendary costume designer Patricia Field, whose influence ensures each look feels intentional, expressive and a little bit daring. Given her history working with the likes of Carrie Bradshaw and Andy Sachs, is it any surprise that Emily is impeccably dressed?

So, if you’ve found yourself pausing mid-episode to screenshot a jumpsuit, a bag, or an impossibly good pair of heels, you’re in the right place. Below, we break down exactly where to buy Emily Cooper’s most memorable outfits from Emily in Paris season five.

A green ensemble

Our eyes were immediately drawn to this green look. You can’t see it here, but she’s giving us a lesson in pattern clashing, pairing the Sébline shirt and jacket with geometric bermuda shorts by Claudie Pierlot, a green crossbody bag, and a paisley green tote. Not all of it is available online, but we’ve managed to find a few pieces below.

Call It By Your Name Trapeze Bag

SÉBLINE Ruffle Polo Shirt

SÉBLINE Embroidered Smoking Jacket

FRANCESCA BELLAVITA Lollie Bucket Bag

A chic travel look

Doesn’t everyone pull out their matching paisley suit for a day of travel? Naturally, she’s also carrying a FENDI Peekaboo on her journey — fitting, considering FENDI has just announced a capsule collection in collaboration with the show.

Shop the look below.

ALICE + OLIVIA Breann Fitted Blazer

IZIE Highbury Boot

FENDI Peekaboo ISeeU Petite in light burgundy

A dotty matching set

This is arguably our favourite look of the season (so far). And luckily, you can get your hands on just about all of it, below.

For Love and Lemons Dolly Dot Denim Button-Down Top and skort

All aboard the Vespa

What’d we’d give to be riding around Rome in a DVF jumpsuit…

DIANE VON FURSTENBURG Michele printed stretch-jersey wide-leg jumpsuit

SCHUTZ Keefa Platform Heel

Another polka dot set, for good measure

We’re obsessed with the vintage vibes of this look, which comes courtesy of Moschino.

Inside Maison Vivier – a whole new world for master French House Roger Vivier https://www.russh.com/maison-vivier-gherardo-felloni-interview/ Thu, 18 Dec 2025 02:00:06 +0000 https://www.russh.com/?p=275038 "Maison Vivier should represent exactly that – grace and wit, where craftsmanship becomes emotion, and where the legacy of one of Paris’s most visionary designers continues to inspire contemporary culture.”

At 98 Rue de l’Université, in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Roger Vivier opens Maison Vivier – an 18th-century hôtel particulier restored as the Maison’s new Parisian residence. Conceived as a cultural and creative home, the space brings together heritage, imagination, and contemporary design, housing the brand’s salons, studio, and archives under one roof. More than a headquarters, Maison Vivier is an invitation into the inner world of the Maison and the vision of Creative Director Gherardo Felloni.

“There was an immediate sense of dialogue,” Felloni says of first entering the building. “Between the light filtering down the grand staircase, the quiet presence of its architecture, and the imagination of what could unfold here.” What became clear almost instantly was that this would not simply be a place to work. “It could become a living narrative, a place where creativity, heritage, and emotion coexist.”

The hôtel particulier’s rare balance of intimacy and grandeur shaped that vision. Felloni saw the possibility for everything that defines the Maison to exist together – the studio, the salons, the archive, and the exchanges between disciplines that animate the brand. “What felt possible,” he reflects, “was a home where ideas could grow freely yet remain deeply rooted.”

Place, too, plays a defining role. Located in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, a neighbourhood historically shaped by literary salons, artists, editors, poets, and designers, Maison Vivier marks a return to a part of Paris intimately tied to the founder himself. Roger Vivier once lived nearby; the Left Bank formed part of his daily landscape. “Returning here is not just symbolic,” Felloni says. “It is almost biographical.”

The building’s cultural layers helped him imagine Maison Vivier as a space for exchange, imagination, and joie de vivre. “Parisian culture thrives on conversation,” he explains. “Between disciplines, eras, and personalities. Maison Vivier should represent exactly that – grace and wit, where craftsmanship becomes emotion, and where the legacy of one of Paris’s most visionary designers continues to inspire contemporary culture.”

Your studio, the archives, and the salons now exist together. How does this proximity to Roger Vivier’s original creations influence your creative process?

“Being so close to the archive changes the rhythm of creation. Some days I open a box and find something simple: a detail, a line, a shape that suddenly sparks a direction. It reminds me how ideas often begin quietly, almost casually, before they reveal their full meaning.

“This proximity also makes me feel the immediacy of Vivier’s own process. He worked with extraordinary spontaneity. If he noticed a small object – a thorn, a curve, a piece of metal – he could transform it instantly into the starting point for a new heel. That directness, that ability to turn an encounter into invention, is something I feel very strongly here.

“With the salons and the archive just steps from the studio, the dialogue becomes constant. Past and present respond to each other in real time. It encourages a way of designing that is more fluid and intuitive, but always anchored in precision, craft, and Parisian grace.”

Maison Vivier also opens a new chapter for how the Maison shares its heritage. Why was this important to you?

“One of the most meaningful aspects of this new chapter is the idea of giving back. For the first time, the archive can be visited by appointment by students, researchers, and young designers who want to study the pieces closely – the construction of a heel, the balance of a silhouette, the way a buckle changes the entire attitude of a shoe.

“Allowing access to these treasures means letting Vivier’s legacy continue to evolve through new hands, new eyes, and new interpretations. In this way, Maison Vivier is not only a sanctuary for heritage; it becomes a platform for transmission, where history actively fuels the future.”

The inauguration took place during Paris Fashion Week. How did you want guests to experience the space for the first time?

“I wanted guests to feel as though they were stepping inside the Maison’s inner world – a world where craftsmanship is intimate, where ideas move through rooms, and where history is tangible yet never heavy.

“The journey begins with the grand staircase, then flows into the salons, the garden, and finally the studio. It’s like entering the Maison’s creative anatomy. Even my office, with its soft pinks and greens, the Chinese Art Deco rug, the archive boxes, is part of that experience. It’s a place where collections begin as raw thoughts, colours, and intuitions.”

Spring Summer 2026 is entirely dedicated to the Belle Vivier. Why did this feel like the right moment?

“SS26 marks the 60th anniversary of the Belle Vivier, created in 1965 for Yves Saint Laurent’s Mondrian collection and immortalised by Catherine Deneuve in Belle de Jour. This model is not just a shoe; it is a cultural icon and a symbol of architectural flair and Parisian elegance.

“With the opening of Maison Vivier, it felt natural to dedicate a full collection to this emblem. We explored unexpected materials, new metal treatments for the buckles, and extensions into bags and accessories, celebrating continuity while opening new perspectives.”

Looking ahead, how do you hope Maison Vivier will influence the future of Parisian luxury?

“Maison Vivier is meant as a cultural gesture – an invitation to revisit what luxury means today. Not only exceptional craftsmanship, but a connection to memory, imagination, and dialogue.

“By opening the archive, creating salons for exhibitions and conversations, and giving space to interdisciplinary collaboration, we want to contribute something back to Paris. I hope Maison Vivier shows that luxury can be intimate, intellectual, joyful – rooted in heritage yet open to experimentation.”

If you’ve seen the chaos at Marty Supreme merch pop-ups in NYC – overnight queues, police showing up, jackets instantly flipping for four figures– you already know this film has crossed into full-blown hype territory.

What started as a few exclusive Nahmias jackets has turned into Supreme-era levels of frenzy, fuelled by Timothée Chalamet superfans, resellers, and A24’s carefully curated mystique. But now, you might just be able to snag yourself a piece of the hype, as Golf Wang – the brand founded by one of the film’s stars, Tyler, the Creator – has teamed up with A24 for an apparel collection inspired by the upcoming film.

Here’s how to get your hands on it…

When is it being released?

The full collection drops tomorrow, on Friday 19 December 2025 at 8am Pacific Time (or 3am Saturday AEDT / 2am Saturday AEST for those shopping online in Australia).

Given the demand seen at previous Marty Supreme merch releases, fans should expect popular items and sizes to sell out quickly.

Where can I buy it?

The collection will be available through the Golf Wang app, the Golf Wang webstore, and at all Golf Wang physical locations in Sydney, London, New York and Los Angeles.

What’s in the collection?

The capsule pulls from the movie’s 1950s setting, blending retro silhouettes with Golf Wang’s colourful, streetwear-forward aesthetic. Instead of a single hero piece, the collaboration offers a full range of items that expand the film’s visual world beyond pop-up exclusives.

The collection features bowling shirts, camp-collar tops, graphic T-shirts, blousons, and varsity jackets. A standout piece uses a newspaper-style print with Timothée Chalamet’s face repeating beneath a pink Marty Supreme wordmark.

Other highlights include a bold portrait tee, a subtle blouson with a small Marty Supreme patch, a bowling shirt with vintage table-tennis embroidery, and varsity jackets referencing the film’s “Rockwell Ink.”

Why is the Marty Supreme merch so hyped right now?

The hype around Marty Supreme has been building for months. Directed by Josh Safdie and starring Timothée Chalamet, the film has attracted massive attention thanks to its limited merch drops, celebrity wearers (Finneas, Kylie, A$AP Rocky, Tom Brady, Justin and Hayley Bieber) – and resale prices climbing as high as £3,000.

Fans have waited overnight, tracked locations via TikTok and paid a fortuen just for a chance at owning a jacket.
